A Lesson at the Residence of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for our Followers from the City of Holon

On Wednesday, Parshas Terumah, the night of the 29th of Shevat, a lesson was held at the home of our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for our followers (Anshei Shlomeinu) from the city of Holon. Before you is a summary of the topics from the lesson, which was delivered over the course of about forty minutes:
Adam HaRishon (the first man) kept all the holidays. The Afikoman (the matzah eaten at the end of the Seder) is the most important thing. The entire Zohar (the foundational work of Kabbalah) consists of the sayings of Adam HaRishon. Rabbi Akiva had to undergo [the torture of] iron combs because he did not attend all the lessons. Rabbi Yehoshua and Rabbi Eliezer went on the night of the Seder to their student, Rabbi Akiva, because he expounded upon the most miracles. In World War I, the highest-ranking officers were Jews, and the Germans said that it was because of them that they lost the war. If a person misses a lesson from the Tzaddik, he cannot rectify his gilgulim (reincarnations). People on the seventh of October and also in the Holocaust turned into angels and seraphim (fiery angels), like the children of the Bibas family who turned into angels; the terrorists' greatest pleasure was hearing their screams. The entire Shabbos is about the zemiros (songs); one does not need to be at home just to eat—the whole point is to sing the zemiros with the children. Pharaoh gave 15 festival days—Pesach and Succos; Antiochus gave eight days [of Chanukah]; Haman knew he would lose but did not want there to be more than one day of holiday, so he said "to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate in one day," but this year there will be seven—the Megillah is read from the 11th [of Adar] until the night of the 17th, so it comes out to seven days. We used to travel with passports, twenty people in one group from twenty different countries, and they had already taken us out to be executed; in the end, the commander arrived and shouted: "Get out of here with your passports, I don't want to see you anymore." Gaza could be conquered in one day; it is all politics. The Ramban (Nachmanides) explains that all the people of Shechem wanted to do teshuvah (repentance), and therefore Yaakov (Jacob) was angry with Shimon and Levi and cursed them so that they would not receive a portion in the Land. All the kibbutzim were conquered [on October 7th]; the army only arrived the next day. They caught Rav Hamnuna and put him in prison, then Eliyahu HaNavi (Elijah the Prophet) arrived, knocked down the wall, and he went out. The Rambam (Maimonides) disagrees with the Ramban and rules that if a gentile sees another gentile commit robbery, he is obligated to kill him, and if he does not kill him, then anyone who knows about it becomes liable for death; therefore, all of Shechem were liable for death. Consequently, Trump, who holds like the Rambam's view, merited to receive the presidency on the day of the Rambam's hillula (anniversary of passing). The Chiddushei HaRim says that this was the Bar Mitzvah sermon of Shimon and Levi on this subject.
