A Miracle for the Roses • 5th Grade of the Emunat Tzion Talmud Torah Begins Gemara Study in the Rav's Inner Sanctum

Last week—Monday, the 15th of Kislev, Parshat Vayeshev—a ceremony marking the beginning of Gemara (Talmud) study in the chapter 'Elu Metziot' was held at the home of the Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), for the precious children of the Emunat Tzion Talmud Torah (religious elementary school).
The pure children heard holy words from the Rav shlit"a for about twenty minutes. During this time, the Rav began learning the chapter 'Elu Metziot' with the children, specifically the topic of 'a kav in four cubits,' and the true method of study. The Rav shlit"a also addressed the educators who participated in the event, instructing them to instill a love of Torah in the children by teaching the Gemara in a vivid and captivating manner.
Following the fascinating lesson, the students passed by one after another to receive the blessing of the Rav shlit"a, whose face shone with immense nachas (spiritual satisfaction) at seeing the students begin their Gemara study with such eagerness and a desire to become Talmidei Chachamim (Torah scholars) and tzaddikim (righteous ones).
