A Prayer Regarding the Terrible Troubles of Israel by the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days)
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose can be withheld. Merit me from now on to feel the terrible troubles of Israel and the blood of Israel that is spilled in the streets of the city day and night, until there is no house where there is not one dead. Therefore, I have come before You, Master of Kindness and Mercy; please, have pity, please have mercy on the flock of slaughter (the persecuted Jewish people), for before You all mysteries and all hidden things from the beginning of creation are revealed. And I only yearn, long, and pine for You, that You Yourself should rectify all that I have damaged. And behold, I am returning in teshuvah (repentance) and longing only for You, as it is written: "As the hart pants after the water brooks, so my soul pants after You, O God."
And I know with certainty that I am guilty of all the attacks, disasters, and terrible murders, for only because of my personal pgam habrit (spiritual blemishes related to personal purity) have all these terrible disasters come. Therefore, I have come to supplicate before You, Master of Mercy, Whose greatness is unsearchable. Merit me to perfectly rectify all my spiritual blemishes, and may I merit from now on to guard my eyes and not to cause any blemish in the Bris Kodesh (holy covenant of purity), Heaven forbid. Through this, may the verse be fulfilled: "He has swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again" (Job 20:15), and may all the nitzotzos d'kedusha (sparks of holiness) return to their place. Through this, may the soul of our holy and awesome Rebbe Nachman be drawn down anew, and may the complete Geulah (Redemption) come quickly in our days in the blink of an eye, Amen, Netzach, Sela, Va'ed.
