As in every year, this year too, the man of kindness and great deeds, Rabbi Yehuda Kadosh (may Hashem protect and sustain him), director of the orphan organization of our holy community "Yakirinu" (formerly 'Haben Yakir Li'), organized an invested and magnificent Hanukkah gathering for the orphans of our community.

The gathering took place on Monday night, the 30th of Kislev, the first day of Rosh Chodesh (the New Month) Tevet, the sixth night of Hanukkah, at the holy residence of the Rav shlit"a and with his participation. The young children sang soulful songs for about twenty minutes together with the Rav shlit"a, and afterwards, the Rav shlit"a delivered a lesson to them on the matters of Hanukkah—a lesson which, as is his holy way, branched out into additional topics from all parts of the holy Torah. After the lesson, the righteous children passed by one after another to receive Hanukkah Gelt (traditional money gifts) from the holy hands of the Rav shlit"a, who serves as a father and mother for those who have none. He inquired of each and every one with the warmth of his pure heart regarding their situation and progress in Torah and the service of Hashem, while caring for the physical and spiritual needs of each individual.
