And There We Shall Ascend and Appear - The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Made a Pilgrimage Together with Hundreds of His Students

We were privileged that after two years, our teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, made a pilgrimage during the holiday of Sukkot together with hundreds of students and supporters of 'Shuvu Banim' and the entire House of Israel.
At 2:00 AM, our teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, left his home and arrived at the Western Wall plaza, where he was greeted with the singing of 'Or Zarua LaTzaddik' (Light is sown for the Tzaddik). As he approached the remnant of our Holy Temple, he began reciting the Tikkun HaKlali (The General Rectification) seven times until 3:40 AM. After the seventh Tikkun HaKlali, he recited Kaddish (sanctification prayer) and left the Western Wall accompanied by hundreds of people singing 'Awake, my glory; awake, O lute and harp; I will wake the dawn...' and arrived at his holy home at 4:00 AM to the singing of 'Light is sown for the Tzaddik, and for the upright in heart, gladness...'.
In the 'Shuvu Banim' archives, we checked and found that this is the fifth time this year since the Rav returned to his home that we have been privileged to be with him at the Western Wall. It should be noted that this occurrence of the Rav arriving at the Western Wall five times in a single year last happened over twenty years ago.
