Exclusive: First-hand testimony - Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l told me that the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a controls all 24 heavenly courts

Before we begin with the story of the Tzaddik Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l, we will present an introduction from the book Likutey Moharan regarding the matter of Pidyon Nefesh (redemption of the soul) given to the Tzaddik of the generation:

Rebbe Nachman of Breslov says (Likutey Moharan 215) - "Know that there are twenty-four types of pidyonos (redemptions) because there are twenty-four courts (see Idra Rabba, Nasso 136b; and Idra Zuta 293). And corresponding to each and every court there is a specific pidyon to sweeten the judgment that is there. Therefore, sometimes the pidyon one performs is not effective because not everyone knows all twenty-four pidyonos, and even if one knows them, one does not perform all of them. Therefore, when one does not perform the specific pidyon for that judgment, it is ineffective. But know, that there is one pidyon that includes all twenty-four courts and can sweeten all twenty-four courts. And for this pidyon, a time of favor is needed, the aspect of the revelation of the Forehead of Will, like on Shabbat at Minchah," etc.
Rebbe Nachman continues to reveal to us the secret of the General Pidyon. "But even among the Tzaddikim, not everyone knows this pidyon, and it is not found except with one in a generation who knows this pidyon.., who can sweeten all twenty-four courts at once.., and this was the service of Moshe Rabbeinu, peace be upon him, all the days of his life." We have summarized the words of the Torah [teaching] according to what is relevant to the interview we are presenting here before you, but it is very worthwhile to study the entire Torah as it is presented at the end of the article. It is not long, yet it is full of the secrets of the Geulah (Redemption).

Rebbe Nachman explains in this Torah the words of the holy Zohar (ibid.) and reveals to us that there are 24 courts in Heaven, where every court changes at a different hour of the day. And also, that every court judges a different matter, so that if, for example, a person flawed a certain matter, it is not necessary that they will judge his case in Heaven immediately; rather, his judgment will wait until the court authorized in this matter arrives.

There are holy and pure Tzaddikim, raised above the people, who master the secret of sweetening the judgment, but the matter is not simple at all. Rebbe Nachman reveals that there are Tzaddikim who know the secret of one court and there are those who know more. However, none of them can know which judgment is being judged in the heavenly courts right now, and therefore giving money for a pidyon to that Tzaddik will not necessarily effect the sweetening. And here Rebbe Nachman reveals a great secret - There is one pidyon called - 'The General Pidyon' (Pidyon HaKlali) - and it includes all 24 heavenly courts.

Beautiful, right? But there is another minor detail -

For only one Tzaddik in each and every generation masters the secret of the General Pidyon, and only giving a pidyon to this Tzaddik will certainly sweeten the judgment at its root - So who is this Tzaddik?!

In the past, we brought before you several interviews that revealed a little of this secret; now we are happy to bring before you an exclusive interview that exposes another measure of what is happening far above.

"My name is Dan Ben-David and for 20 years I was a chassid of the holy Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l. My connection with him began in a special and coincidental way, after I witnessed his Ruach HaKodesh (Divine Spirit). It happened when I was invited to join a regular class of Rabbi Yoram zt"l in Petah Tikva, and there, like everyone else, I approached to receive a blessing from the Rav zt"l at the end of the class. But, unlike all the others, immediately when I kissed his holy hand, Rabbi Yoram zt"l said to me - 'Thank you very much.' Although I had no idea what the Rav meant, out of awe of the place, I did not dare ask him his intention."

"Curiosity drew me in, and after a month I arrived again at the class of Rabbi Abergel zt"l, while strengthening myself to clarify Rabbi Yoram zt"l's intention if the story repeated itself. And indeed, the class ends, I lower my head to receive a blessing, and again the Rav zt"l says to me, 'Thank you for everything.' I gathered courage in my soul and asked Rabbi Yoram zt"l - 'What does the Honored Rav mean?'

Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l answered me: "Thank you to you for all the activity of registering children for Torah schools".

Background to the matter - "At that time I was truly engaged in the holy matter of saving the souls of Jewish children from the hands of secular education and registering them for Torah schools. However, Rabbi Yoram zt"l could not have known about this through any natural means; after all, there was, supposedly, no prior acquaintance between us."

"I was in shock; there was no one there who was close to me or who knew me. From then until his painful passing, 20 years of meetings with Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l passed for me. I traveled to him many times and there was even an exchange of letters between us in which he answered questions I directed to him."

"A year and a half ago, about six months before the painful passing of Rabbi Yoram zt"l, I went to ask him several questions, where one of them was regarding the matter of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. I do not listen to the news, and in fact, until then I had hardly heard of Rabbi Berland shlit"a nor of the 'Shuvu Banim' community, but the storm around it could not leave me indifferent to the matter."

This is how I asked Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l: "Honored Rav, there is much talk surrounding Rabbi Berland shlit"a, some say this and some say that?

Rabbi Yoram zt"l smiled a big smile at me and said quietly in my ear: "Rabbi Berland shlit"a controls the 24 courts in the firmament".
"Rabbi Yoram zt"l answered me in such a way of - you don't need to hear more to understand who he is. I was in total shock and I understood that Rabbi Yoram zt"l was telling me that Rabbi Berland shlit"a is actually a giant."
"Everyone knows the magnitude of Rabbi Yoram zt"l's power in Torah, in righteousness, and in Ahavat Yisrael (love of fellow Jews), and if he says this, together with many more of the Gedolei Yisrael (greats of Israel) - it is very worthwhile to understand the message and not to have doubts after the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a."

"B"H, we are waiting for good news soon, for Rabbi Berland shlit"a, for us, and for all the Nation of Israel, especially since this coming Friday night his 80th birthday will occur, with Hashem's help, and we wish him length of days and years in goodness and pleasantness, for the benefit of him and all the Nation of Israel."

Torah 215 from Likutey Moharan by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov - The Secret of the General Pidyon (For the benefit of those who wish to continue studying)

Know that there are twenty-four types of pidyonos because there are twenty-four courts (see Idra Rabba, Nasso 136b; and Idra Zuta 293). And for this pidyon, a time of favor is needed, the aspect of the revelation of the Forehead of Will, like on Shabbat at Minchah, the aspect of "And as for me, may my prayer to You, etc., be at a time of favor" etc. (Psalms 69). But even among the Tzaddikim, not everyone knows this pidyon, and it is not found except with one in a generation who knows this pidyon. And sometimes, even when this Tzaddik performs a pidyon, nevertheless it is ineffective. And this is because Above they also desire such a pidyon very much, for not every time does such a pidyon come to them from below that can sweeten all twenty-four courts at once. Therefore, when this sweetening comes to them, they use it for a different purpose; that is, through this pidyon and sweetening, converts are made. For as long as there is idolatry in the world, there is burning anger in the world (Sifrei, Parashat Re'eh). And when the judgment and the burning anger are sweetened, the idolatry is sweetened and they become converts. And this was the service of Moshe Rabbeinu, peace be upon him, all the days of his life, and also after his death, for he strove to draw close the Mixed Multitude (Erev Rav) in order to make converts. And also in his death, he was buried opposite Beis Peor, in order to sweeten the idolatry so that they would become converts. And therefore he passed away on Shabbat at Minchah, for then is a time of favor, in order to sweeten all twenty-four courts as mentioned above, in order to make converts. For all the service of Moshe was to sweeten the burning anger of the idolatry into favor (Will). And therefore Moshe stands between destruction (shmad) and favor (ratzon), for the numerical value of Moshe is the mean (average) between the number of shmad and the number of ratzon, for he stands constantly to sweeten the destruction to turn it into favor as mentioned above. And therefore we find in the Midrash that Rabbi Eliezer the Great (see Bereishit Rabbah, Vayetze Parasha 70 and Midrash Rabbah Kohelet) converted converts, and this is because he was a reincarnation of the son of Moshe, for about him it is said: "And the name of the one was Eliezer" as brought (Midrash Rabbah Bamidbar Parasha 19). And therefore, with this power, he converted converts. And so too Yitro, because he was the father-in-law of Moshe, through this he converted, as it is written (Exodus 18): "And Yitro, the father-in-law of Moshe, heard" - for because he was the father-in-law of Moshe, this caused him to hear and convert. For all the service of Moshe in his life and now after his death is only to make converts as mentioned above.
