First-Hand Testimony – The Father of the Son Recounts How Rabbi Berland shlit"a's Blessing Was Fulfilled Completely

A few days ago, we brought the story of Kfir Bracha regarding the promise of Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a for a male child. At that time, it was his friend Nachman (Baruch) Sagiv sheyichyeh (may he live) who passed the moving story on to us, concluding his words with the sentence, "With Hashem's help, Morinu HaRav Berland shlit"a will also be the Sandek (godfather) at the infant's Bris, and we will all be together with him – when you too will come to the prayer."
Today, just a few hours after the Bris Kodesh (holy circumcision) was held in the holy abode of Morinu HaRav Berland shlit"a, we are happy to present to you the words of the father of the celebration.

"We have been married for more than ten years, and during all this time we wanted a male child to be born to us. Although three daughters were born to us, ever since I got married, I waited for the moment I would have a son. And behold, while Morinu HaRav Berland shlit"a was in exile in Holland, our friends Pinchas and Nachman Sagiv traveled to him. We, of course, seized the opportunity like one finding great treasure. Immediately, I and my friend Aharon, who has no children at all, asked them to mention us for a blessing before the Rav shlit"a."

And when the Rav came to bless me, he said in these words, 'A male child on the 10th of Sivan'. I entered a few minutes after the conversation ended, and the friends updated me regarding its content. I immediately believed in my heart in the words of Rabbi Berland shlit"a. True, I didn't know exactly how things would work out, but I did know that something would happen as a result of the Tzaddik's blessing."
"The day of the 10th of Sivan arrived, and to our joy, the Tzaddik's blessing was fulfilled in its entirety; a male child was born to us. Furthermore, in all three previous births, my wife gave birth in the 40th week. If in this birth it had happened as well, then my wife would have given birth two weeks ago. But here, the 40th week arrives and nothing happens; two more weeks pass, and suddenly my wife feels the need to give birth."
"When they told Morinu HaRav Berland shlit"a how his blessing was fulfilled in its entirety, he answered, 'Wow, what miracles Hashem does.' We were privileged; what a Rav we have, he is all simplicity and innocence."
