"Great Benefit in Gathering Together at the Western Wall" • The Chassidic Elder Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a with Encouragement Ahead of Tonight's Assembly at the Western Wall

Following the medical condition of our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), who for over a month has been suffering from heart failure and has needed to be hospitalized every two days.
By the instruction of the community's rabbis shlit"a, all the students and supporters of our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, from all across the country will gather for an assembly of prayer and outcry today, Wednesday, the 13th of Sivan, at the Western Wall plaza at 8:30 PM. We will recite seven Tikkun HaKlalis (the General Rectification prayers) and pray for the complete healing of our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer ben Ettia Berland shlit"a. Presented before you are the words of the Chassidic Elder Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a regarding the greatness of the assembly and the obligation to participate and pray for the recovery of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a:
How shall we define this hour? How shall we define our situation? How shall we define our well-being? The situation of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, has reached a breaking point (literally: "the waters have reached the soul"). We have nothing left but to cry out together with deep and powerful awakening, to come tonight to a massive prayer assembly—perhaps our cry will be heard before the Master of all Worlds on behalf of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a. Anyone who wishes to inquire and know can do so, but the ears ache to hear what is being heard; our hearts and ears ache to hear what we are hearing. What is the practical implication? Only to come and gather in a massive assembly at the Western Wall on Wednesday, with Hashem's help. May He hear our cry, may He hear the cry of the poor, may He hear our outcry with Hashem's help, and hasten the imminent healing of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, with mercy.
So please, let us all strengthen one another and come, for "Behold, G-d is mighty and does not despise [the prayer of the many]." Gathering together—while everyone surely prays individually—there is a great benefit and much greater significance when we gather together in this holy place, at the Western Wall, in great prayer with Hashem's help, from all corners of the land. Please, friends, please, dear supporters, please, friends of all Israel, anyone to whom the well-being of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, is precious, should make every effort to come to the holy assembly at the Western Wall on Wednesday.
May He hear the cry of the poor, may He hear our cry, and hasten a true healing for our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, with mercy. Be strong and courageous!
