"I Am Your Healer" • Update on the Medical Condition of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Two days after our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) was hospitalized due to his medical condition, this evening his attendant and grandson—Reb Naftali Zucker—was interviewed on the information line and provided an update on the medical condition of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a. Here is the update as it was delivered on the Breslov Chassidim information line *9148:
Thank God, the situation has stabilized more; all the indicators that were problematic have become more stable. Certainly, this is in the merit of the atzeret (prayer gathering). Regarding the improvement in the condition involving heart failure, there is a treatment—in recent days they brought special new medications that help with heart failure. With Hashem's help, in a few days, we will be able to see the effect of this medication. Thank God, no effort is being spared and special doctors are being brought in; additionally, a very expert doctor in this field arrived who is accompanying and guiding the junior doctors in everything necessary. Regarding the expected release of the Rav shlit"a, it is currently unclear. With Hashem's help, if people pray more, we will merit that the Rav shlit"a returns for the Holy Shabbat of Parshat Behaalotecha. It should be noted that externally, thank God, the Rav is conducting himself as he does at home according to his daily schedule, sitting and learning. The Rav requested that they bring him the large Shas (Talmud set) with all the commentaries, as well as the Rambam (Maimonides), and he even requested a volume of the Chazon Ish and Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law), this is in addition to the Ktzos HaChoshen (a classic legal work) which never leaves his table. As is known regarding the Rav shlit"a, even when he does not feel well, it is very difficult to notice it from the outside because he continues his avodas Hashem (service of God) with even greater strength and vigor. We do not understand the greatness of our Rav; with other Rebbes and Rabbis, the moment they don't feel well, that becomes the reality, but with the Rav shlit"a, it is hardly visible at all. The Rav never gives himself any concessions.
The public of Anshei Shlomeinu (our community of faithful) is called upon to continue to entreat in prayer and supplication for the refuah sheleimah (complete healing) of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer ben Etia Berland shlit"a, among all the sick of Israel!
