In an Emotional Recording: Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Explains Where and Why He Disappeared and What the Public Should Do

A few days ago, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) left his home in Jerusalem in the middle of the night for an unknown location, with a vehicle full of suitcases of books. The entire community of Anash (our community) and the students of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a were in suspense regarding the mystery of the Rav's disappearance.
Now, several days after the mysterious disappearance, an emotional recording has been revealed in which the Rav relates what happened:
"You will be alone for two days because the Rav cannot walk on his leg; it simply went out of place. The Rav also cannot breathe properly and needs several days of recovery, as it is written: 'But those who hope in Hashem will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint' (Isaiah 40:31). Doctors and nurses are with me at the place of recovery, taking care of me."
In the emotional recording, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a called for everyone to strengthen themselves during these days and to be meticulous about attending all prayers, as well as to lengthen the prayers for a minimum of 20 minutes, word by word. During the blessing of 'Rofeh Cholim' (Healer of the sick), one should focus with the utmost kavanah (intention) on the healing of the Rav, that he may live another 70 years from today, and that the Rav should recover as quickly as possible."
"The legs represent Emunah (faith). The Rav already had one foot in the World to Come and arrived at the hospital at the very last second. The Rav's kidney was not functioning, and his heart was barely working," the Rav related.
In conclusion, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a spoke with great pain about the large debts and the creditors seeking their money. He called upon Anash (our community) to mobilize for the repayment of the debts, some of which must be returned by next Wednesday. Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a requested that people sign up for standing orders (monthly donations) in the amount of 148 NIS—corresponding to the numerical value of the name "Nachman"—and to get at least 10 more friends to sign up, even people on the street, and to submit all the standing orders to Aryeh Saada or Shalom Meirav.
