Man Was Created to Be a Tzaddik; If He Holds On, the Tzaddik Will Rectify Him — Words of the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a: Watch

Today, Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh (the night following the holy Sabbath) of Parshas Re'eh 5779 (2019), our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), held his holy table during the Melaveh Malka (post-Sabbath) meal.

During the meal, our teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, delivered holy words regarding the need to hold on, and that whoever stays with the Tzaddik (righteous leader) until the end will merit that the Tzaddik will bring him to his complete tikkun (rectification). Here is the content of his words:

"The Rebbe [Rebbe Nachman] said, 'I have succeeded in bringing everything I promised.' Everything the Rebbe promised, he will fulfill. Anyone who holds on and does not fall away in the middle of the journey, the Rebbe will bring him to his ultimate purpose—every single person."

"So one must hold on until the end, not to fall in the middle of the way, not to remove one's pe'os (sidelocks), not to go around in just a shirt or an undershirt. Suddenly, a person takes off his suit—some have already taken off their suits and their pe'os. 'Maybe I'll take mine off too, what of it?' (The Rav says this jokingly, reflecting on the situation)."

"So, whoever holds on until the end, the Rebbe will make him into a true tzaddik. Everyone needs to rectify all of their gilgulim (reincarnations). All the thoughts that everyone has come from all their previous lifetimes; whatever thoughts come to him, this way or that, are from a previous gilgul (reincarnation). He becomes confused, he fell, he failed, he removed his pe'os in a previous life—now those thoughts come to him in this life. Everyone must hold on and not fall in the middle of the way."

"The Rebbe said all of this when he traveled to Uman."

"A person must know that he was created to be a truly great tzaddik, even if he is doing everything the opposite way. The Rebbe says it doesn't matter; as long as he doesn't fall in the middle of the way and doesn't leave me, he will be a great tzaddik, the likes of whom have not existed in all generations, and no other tzaddik will be able to reach his level."

These are the holy words of the holy Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, as they were delivered on Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh of Parshas Re'eh 5779.
