Mandatory: An Announcement from the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, Before the Knesset Elections

The firm position of our teacher, His Holy Eminence the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, regarding the obligation to participate in the government elections is well known. The Rav shlit"a has expressed himself many times in the past on this subject, and this time too, the Tzaddik warns against the complacency of G-d-fearing voters. The Rav used the Halachic (Jewish legal) expression reserved for the most difficult cases that life presents to a person and said, "The elections are literally Pikuach Nefesh (a matter of life and death)." These are his holy words as he delivered them tonight.
"Regarding the elections, one must know what the Vizhnitzer Rebbe said; whoever hears it would rend his garments. He said that this is Pikuach Nefesh (a matter of life and death); now Benny Gantz is receiving 30 mandates, Benny Gantz with Lapid."
"They want to uproot all the Charedim (ultra-Orthodox Jews), to throw all the Charedim to some island in the Caribbean, so they will build new houses there. Let Yosef Shor, instead of being a mohel (one who performs circumcisions), start building houses."
"In the Bahamas as well, all the houses were destroyed; they blame Shuvu Banim for all of this. Now there are planes ready here to transfer all of Shuvu Banim to the Bahamas."
"Everyone must build a house of ten rooms; it will be made of plastic. The plastic will come from Germany, or from Chile, or from Peru. In the Bahamas, three-quarters of the houses were destroyed; in the Caribbean, many houses were also destroyed."
