"Mashiach Will Arrive Through Meron" - The Words of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) spoke about the importance of contributing to the expenses of the lighting compound in Meron, which reached nearly a million shekels. Afterward, our teacher the Rav continued and said, "Because the entire Geulah (Redemption) depends on this, for it is written in all the books that Mashiach must come in 5779 (this year), the year of 'And with the coming of Mashiach' (the numerical value of which is 779)."
The Rav shlit"a continued by describing the greatness of the merit of tzedakah (charity) and said, "Specifically this year's hillula (celebration of a Tzaddik's passing) when Moshe (Moses) was supposed to arrive, because he will only arrive through Meron. It is written in the Zohar on Shemos (Exodus) that Moshe will arrive through the land of the Galilee—this refers to Rabbi Shimon in Meron—and from there they will go to Mount Nebo and the cave will split open. Then they will see a doe walking on the mountain as written in the Zohar on Balak; then Moshe will connect with the King Mashiach, and they will follow the doe."
"Then the grave of Moshe will split open and Moshe will go with Mashiach to the Tomb of Rachel. And they will awaken Rachel Imeinu (our mother Rachel). And they will say to Rachel, 'Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded' (Jeremiah 31:15). There is a reward for Rachel's action, for through her crying she will bring the King Mashiach, as only Rachel will split the rock. 'As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt, I will show him wonders' (Micah 7:15)—then everyone will see the wonders, how the sea splits into 12 paths once again. All the nations of the world will come to fight against Israel, 'And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great shofar (ram's horn) shall be blown' (Isaiah 27:13)."
"We are standing before the great moment when a great shofar shall be blown; we are standing before the most dramatic moment in the world, the moment when 'a great shofar shall be blown, and they shall come who were lost in the land of Assyria, and they who were outcasts in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship Hashem in the holy mountain at Jerusalem'."

Pharaoh did teshuvah from the beginning; he did not want to throw the male children into the Nile, but then he was removed from his throne for three full months by his ministers, so he then accepted to carry out the terrible decree of throwing the children of Israel into the Nile.
