May the Year and Its Blessings Begin • Honey Distribution from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a to the Partners of the Beis Medrash

With the approach of the New Year, our community members—the partners of the Beis Medrash (study hall)—merited to enter the inner sanctum for the distribution of honey and a blessing for a good year from the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Starting from this past Wednesday, evening after evening, before the Maariv (evening prayer) service, the partners of the Beis Medrash entered one after another, each in his turn, to receive the honey from the holy hands of the Rav shlit"a. Not only that, but each person merited personal attention: the Rav shlit"a asked after his well-being, blessed him with fatherly affection, and bestowed upon him a blessing for a good and sweet year. In those moments, everyone emerged from there full of light, joy, and renewal for the coming year. This sublime hour was etched into their hearts, as the very connection and hiskashrus (spiritual attachment) to the Tzaddik, and the blessing from his holy mouth, constitute a wonderful opening for a year of light, joy, and Dveikus (cleaving) to Hashem.
