NEW 'GARDEN OF THE TZADDIK' WEBINAR AND CHABURA FOR ENGLISH-SPEAKERS

We're very happy to announce the launch of the new Shuvu Banim 'Tzaddik' webinar and chabura for English-speakers.

THE JEWISH CONCEPT OF THE TZADDIK IS WOEFULLY MISUNDERSTOOD

The chassidic and kabbalistic teachings about 'The Tzaddik' contains some of the most sublime - and most misunderstood - ideas in yiddishkeit. Rebbe Nachman of Breslov also devoted a great deal of time to elucidating the authentic Jewish concept of 'The Tzaddik', and much of his writings and teachings are devoted to this topic.

Sadly, in the English-speaking world there is often very little awareness about this fundamental Jewish concept, so try to rectify this lack of information, Shuvu Banim has launched a new webinar and chabura, to discuss more of the Torah sources and ideas connected to the concept of 'The Tzaddik'.

One of Rav Berland's long-time students, Rav Eliyahu Succot, kindly agreed to give the first class, to start the webinar off with a bang, and you can see his lesson above. Some of the highlights of Rav Succot's class include:

* What does it mean to connect oneself to the Tzaddik?
* What does one get out of it?
* What are some stories and examples of it?

The class is taking place in the room next to the Bet Knesset of Rav Berland at the end of Ido Hanavi Street, in Morasha (Musrara). The nearest stop on the Jerusalem tram is the Town Hall, and Ido HaNavi is a short, 5 minute walk down HaNeviim Street from there.

The chabura is ranging over a wide number of Breslov teachings about the Tzaddik, and is occurring every night at 8:15pm, and will last approximately 1  1 1/2 hours. Every Thursday night, one of the Rav's senior students will be the guest speaker, in English.
