Prayer for the Healing of Morinu HaRav shlit"a - Written in 5759 by Morinu HaRav shlit"a for a Certain Tzaddik

Master of the Universe, Merciful and Gracious, Omnipotent One from whom no purpose can be withheld! Please save, in Your abundant mercy, the tzaddik of the generation, who suffers terrible afflictions solely because of the iniquities of the generation, and because of our many sins and transgressions. Therefore, terrible afflictions are passing over him now from the multitude of our terrible sins and transgressions, which have caused the terrible judgments of MaNTzePa"Ch (the five final Hebrew letters representing severe judgments) to overpower. These equal the gematria (numerical value) of Pa"R (280), which is the gematria of sukar (sugar) = Pa"R (280). And all this is because of our many and terrible iniquities which grow stronger from day to day. Through this, the heart of the entire world has been afflicted—he who all the days of his life was "dust and ashes," just as Avraham Avinu said, "I am but dust and ashes." Therefore, he merited to be comprised of the two Mashiachs: Mashiach ben David and Mashiach ben Yosef. For this is the gematria of afar va'efer (dust and ashes), which is the gematria of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. Because he is comprised of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, and the two Mashiachs (Avraham 248, Yitzchak 208, Yaakov 182 = 638; Afar 350, va'efer 287 = 637 + 1 [for the word itself] = 638; Mashiach 358, ben 52, David 14, u'ben 58, Yosef 156 = 638). Please, Merciful and Gracious One, have mercy upon him in Your abundant and infinite mercy, for he is a man "not of this world, an angel and not a man." And when You heal him with a complete healing, Your Name will be sanctified in all the worlds, this world and the World to Come. And then the verse will be fulfilled: "Then they will say among the nations, 'Hashem has done great things for these.'"
