Prayer for the Holiday of Shavuot

Prayer in honor of the holiday of Shavuot, from the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Master of the Universe, Almighty One, merit me in honor of the holiday of Shavuot that my head should open, and all screens should be removed from me. May all the barriers and smoke be removed from me, and may I no longer have any screen or barrier over my mind. May my mind, from this holiday of Shavuot—which is the holiday of Matan Torah (the Giving of the Torah)—be pure, clear, bright, and luminous. May I absorb everything I learn in a matter of seconds, without any obstacle, confusion, or hesitation.

And I should no longer have any doubts during the time of study; the study should shine for me with an Or Yekarot (precious, magnificent light), and they should see upon me during the time of study an Or Yekarot, a glowing light, just as they saw upon Jonathan ben Uzziel, and upon Rabbi Akiva, and upon Elazar ben Arach, and upon Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who were surrounded by flames of fire during the time of study. So too may I merit to learn with immense fervor and immense passion, and everyone will see how flames of fire surround me during the time of study, for the holiday (11) of Shavuot (787) = 798, which is the Gematria (numerical value) of "The Torah (611) commanded (101) to us (86)" = 798.

And may I merit to learn with a burning fire day and night = 177, and through this, I shall merit to enter with my body into Gan Eden (Paradise) = 177. Like Serach (508) daughter of (402) Asher (501), and through this I shall merit to Yechida (the highest level of the soul) (37) = 1448. And through this, we shall merit the building (112) of Jerusalem (596), our Holy (460) City (280) = 1448. And through this, "Shout (291) to Hashem (56), all (50) the earth (296), break out (184) and sing (312) and make music (259)" = 1498. "May (31) the words (251) of my mouth (90) and the meditation (80) of my heart (42) be (376) acceptable (190) before You (26), Hashem (306), my Rock (56) and my Redeemer" = 1498.

And in this merit, I shall learn Torah day and night (177). As it is said, "My Torah (1016) do not (31) forsake (491)" = 1538. And through this, I shall merit to enter with my body into Gan (53) Eden (124) = 177. And I shall merit to learn for 1000 years without a moment or second of interruption, as it is said, "For (30) a thousand (111) years (400) in Your eyes (182) are like a day (66) of yesterday (437) as it passes (282)" = 1538.
