Prayer for the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov zt"l
As is known, the brilliant Torah scholar, Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov zt"l, was the rabbi of all the Jewish people in the Diaspora, both in the Land of Israel and abroad. He merited the exalted spiritual attainment of Adam Kadmon d'Adam Kadmon (the highest primordial level of Divine emanation). He merited to ascend above all the people of his generation. There has never been anyone like him, nor will there be until the coming of Mashiach. Since the time of Moshe Rabbeinu, there has not been such a tzaddik, nor will there be such a tzaddik until the coming of Mashiach. There has never been such a Torah genius, nor will there be such a genius until the coming of Mashiach.
Fortunate is the generation that merited such a light—the primordial light of the Seven Days of Creation, a pure and radiant light, unparalleled and without equal. Now, on his yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing), his light shines exponentially brighter, sevenfold brighter than the light of the sun, and sevenfold brighter than the light of the Seven Days of Creation.
He merited the Ateres Yesod (the Crown of the Foundation, the spiritual channel of Divine abundance), elevating Malchus (Kingship) all the way to the Kesser (Crown) of Adam Kadmon d'Adam Kadmon, and attaining the absolute knowledge that "there is none besides Him." He merited to subdue all the enemies of the Jewish people until no trace of them remains, fulfilling the verse: "And it was turned about, that the Jews had rule over those who hated them." Through this, he merited to subdue all eleven chieftains of Esau, which shares the gematria (numerical value) of Serach bas Asher (1411). She entered the Garden of Eden alive in her physical body (the gematria of Gan Eden is 177) in the merit of dancing and playing the wondrous harp. Through this, she brought about the wondrous End of Days, entering the Garden of Eden alive (177) because she learned Torah day and night (the gematria of Yomam VaLailah is 177).
