Prayer regarding the Lunar Eclipse of Tishrei 5776 written by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Master of the World, Omnipotent One. Tonight, when the unification of the sun and moon takes place, and the moon turns to blood—which hints at the blood of the enemies of Israel, and the sword of Hashem will be filled with blood—regarding this, the Rambam said in Laws of Chagigah 3 that the King Mashiach will be revealed.
On the night following the first day of the Festival [Sukkot]. And regarding this, the Zohar said in Parashat Shelach Lecha 162 that the moon...
...will turn to blood. Start 3:10, Peak 5:48, and Setting 6:37.
And the moon will be red and fire, which hints at a platform of fire that will descend from Heaven, and upon it Mashiach ben David. And regarding this, it is stated: "And it shall come to pass afterwards that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." Behold, Hashem will come in fire...
...and His chariots like a whirlwind. For thus said Hashem: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like a flowing stream; then shall you suck, you shall be borne upon the side, and be dandled upon the knees." And also upon the servants in those days will I pour out My spirit.
And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Hashem comes. And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of Hashem shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Hashem has said, and among the remnant those whom Hashem calls.
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted My land.
For thus said the Lord Hashem, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength." (Isaiah 30:15).
And that which turns to blood is hinted at in the verse: "The sword of Hashem is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams..."
..."for Hashem has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness." For it is the day of Hashem's vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion. "And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch."
"It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever." (Isaiah 34:6-10).
Then the wilderness and the parched land shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of Hashem, and the excellency of our God. (Isaiah 35:1-2).
And regarding this: "Sing unto Hashem a new song, and His praise from the end of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto Hashem, and declare His praise in the islands."
"Hashem shall go forth as a mighty man, He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war; He shall cry, indeed, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies." (Isaiah 42:10-13).
And in the merit of the holiday of Sukkot, seven days to Hashem. "Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor."
And regarding this: "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox." (Isaiah 65).
And regarding this, the King Mashiach will be revealed, as it is said: "That caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, that divided the water before them, to make Himself an everlasting name." (Isaiah 63:12).
