"Purim Falls During Parshat Parah, Because on Purim We Emerge from the Impurity of Death" • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the full daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - yesterday after the Maariv (evening) prayer, Tuesday, Parshat Tzav, the night of the 17th of Adar II:

"So Purim falls [during Parshat] Parah, [because] on Purim we emerge from tumas hameis (the impurity of death). The impurity of death is the Xiaomi, it is the smartphone; when a woman walks with a short dress, that is the impurity of death—she becomes defiled with the impurity of death. Every young man who walks with tight pants, that is the impurity of death. Therefore, the whole essence of Purim is to emerge from the impurity of death. For this reason it is written, 'And the king's decree shall be heard, for it is great (rabbah hi)'—'Hi' (she/it) refers to Ima Ila'ah (the Higher Mother), which includes Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah. For Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah have the same gematria (numerical value) as Yael, the wife of Heber the Kenite. For Yael had them impregnated within her—Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah. Because she broke her Xiaomi. Therefore, 'Blessed among women shall Yael be, among women in the tent shall she be blessed'—what is 'among women in the tent shall she be blessed'? It is the gematria of Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, Leah, and also David—one thousand one hundred. Also King David, for she merited—Yael—that David was impregnated within her; even before he was born, he was impregnated in Yael. For the Zohar says the pillar of fire is David. On page 46 in the Zohar, Parshat Vayishlach: the pillar of fire—David is the pillar of fire. Every girl who breaks her Xiaomi will merit to be a pillar of fire; every girl who merits to break her smartphone will be like Deborah the Prophetess, the 'wife of Lapidot' (torches), for she was entirely made of torches. Every woman must be torches; every woman is the Name of Havayah (the Tetragrammaton). This is hinted at in the words, 'it is great (rabbah hi), and all the women shall give honor'—'and all the women shall give honor' contains two Yuds, which is twice Havayah. Every woman is the Name of Havayah; a woman has no body [in a spiritual sense], a woman does not sin. Women did not sin with the Spies, nor did they sin with the Golden Calf. Furthermore, no woman joined Korach or believed in Korach. Except for Korach's wife, who wanted him to be the leader, the Rosh Yeshiva, the High Priest. No woman joined any sin; all the men sinned constantly, and not a single man remained alive. Rashi says in Parshat Pinchas, 'And among these there was not a man'—there was not a 'man,' all the men died, [yet the women remained alive]. For the women were supposed to protest against them, not let them sin, not let them follow Korach. Not let them make the Calf, not let the men be with the Spies and say that the Land is not good. Anyone who leaves Jerusalem is liable for death; Jerusalem is the World of Yetzirah (Formation). It is not in the World of Asiyah (Action) at all—not in this world. And the Temple Mount is the World of Beriyah (Creation), and the Holy of Holies—the Dvir (Inner Sanctuary)—is the World of Atzilus (Emanation). Therefore, they sold Joseph for shoes because they all walked without shoes. Abraham without shoes, Isaac without shoes, Jacob without shoes, Reuben without shoes. Reuben was only six years [older] than Joseph, [aged] twenty-three [at the time of the sale]. For twenty-three years he walked without shoes. Because the entire Land was holy with the holiness of the Holy of Holies. When Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were here, they sanctified the Land with the holiness of the Holy of Holies, until they sold Joseph. The moment they sold Joseph, the holiness departed and they immediately needed shoes; everything pricked them. Therefore, it is written twice in Amos, 'the needy for a pair of shoes'. And therefore it is written, 'How beautiful are your steps in shoes, O daughter of a noble'—what are shoes? Why is it appropriate to praise shoes? Rather, it is for the fact that they walked on foot. When a person walks on foot. It is written that Reb Noson walked on foot to Breslov, not like me who travels in planes. The Rebbe (Rebbe Nachman) did not travel in planes, Reb Noson did not travel in planes, Reb Nachman of Tulchin did not travel in planes, Reb Avraham son of Reb Nachman was already around when there were planes, but he also did not travel in planes—they walked on foot! There was Reb Noson son of Reb Yehuda Leib Reuven's who walked on foot. He was on horses, on mules, on donkeys, from Tiberias. He left on the 15th of Av and arrived on the 15th of Elul. They walked on foot; there was no such thing as traveling in planes. Only Shuvu Banim renewed this thing; they never traveled in planes—not the Rebbe, not Reb Noson, not Reb Nachman of Tulchin, not Reb Avraham son of Reb Nachman. Therefore [-] 'How beautiful are your steps in shoes,' for the entire matter of Purim and Chanukah is to rectify the shoes. Pesach corresponds to Chochmah (Wisdom), Shavuot to Binah (Understanding), and Sukkot to A"K (Adam Kadmon). When Chanukah and Purim arrive, we make the shoes for the Shechinah (Divine Presence) so that she can descend, so that the Third Temple may be built. For only in the merit of the women will the Third Temple be built! In the merit of the women who walk with long dresses and break their Xiaomis, the Third Temple will be built, the war will cease, and there will be the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, Amen!"‏.
