Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a: "Everyone will return with great abundance from Uman because the Rebbe influences everyone"

This morning, at the conclusion of the prayer, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) delivered a short lesson and spoke about the preparations for the trip to the Kibbutz HaGadol (the great gathering) by Rebbe Nachman zy"a (may his merit protect us) in Uman, and that "everyone will return with great abundance from Uman because the Rebbe influences everyone."

This morning, Wednesday, the 18th of Elul—the birthday of the holy Baal Shem Tov—The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, entered the prayer hall at 4:10 AM for the daily lesson on the Daf Yomi (daily page of Talmud), covering pages 15 and 16 of Tractate Keritot. The lesson lasted 17 minutes.

At their conclusion, the Rav began Chatzos (the midnight lamentation), starting from 'Urah Na' from Tikkun Rachel and Tikkun Leah, followed by the morning songs and the Shacharit (morning) prayer.

At the end of the prayer, the Rav shlit"a delivered a short lesson and spoke about the preparations for the trip to the Kibbutz HaGadol (the great gathering) by Rebbe Nachman zy"a in Uman, and how everyone will return with great abundance from Uman because the Rebbe influences everyone.

The Rav shlit"a mentioned Tractate Me'ilah in the Daf Yomi (daily page of Talmud) which people are starting to learn these days, and said that with diligence (hasmadah), one can finish the entire tractate in a few days.

The Rav mentioned that yesterday, the 17th of Elul, was "the greatest day of the year," as written in Etz Chaim 47. He noted that, G-d willing, we are traveling to Rebbe Nachman zy"a on the 25th of Elul, the day of the creation of the world, and that we should reach the Tzaddik in any way possible, without being affected by all kinds of obstacles and delays on the way, such as flight restrictions, etc.

The Rav mentioned the wisdom of the daughters of Zelophehad, who knew that if there is no son, the daughter inherits; therefore, they came with this claim to Moshe Rabbeinu, who then asked Hashem.

The Rav mentioned that whoever disagreed with Moshe Rabbeinu did not merit an inheritance in the Land of Israel. He also cautioned that those who chase after the Rav's car end up being late for the prayers, and that one must be careful to arrive on time for prayer.
