Rabbi Moyal’s Testimony: Rabbi Berland Decrees in the Heavenly Court

עורך ראשי

Rabbi Yaakov Salama shlit"a, the head of the 'Netzach Netzachim' Kollel (institute for advanced Torah study) in Bnei Brak, shares a piercing message: "We uploaded a video about Rabbi Nissim Moyal zt"l featuring a family member who recounted Rabbi Moyal's perspective on the greatness of Rabbi Berland shlit"a. Suddenly, the persecutors of the Tzaddik (righteous leader) called me and asked how I could tell such stories. I replied that the narrator is a close family member of Rabbi Moyal, sharing first-hand testimony of things he personally witnessed."

"After the pressure on me to remove the video yielded no results, the persecutors began to pressure the Yeshiva (Torah academy) with threats that they would influence donors to stop supporting the institution. The situation reached a point where that same family member, who had shared the stories in the video with such enthusiasm, requested and begged us to take the video down."

"During the time I visited Rabbi Moyal zt"l in the hospital, he said to me, 'You don't know what I see regarding Rabbi Berland; I see him there, Above (in the spiritual realms). There are Tzaddikim there who consult with one another, but then Rabbi Berland comes and issues a decree.' I asked Rabbi Moyal, 'What does it mean that he decrees?' and he answered me that whatever Rabbi Berland rules in the Beis Din Shel Ma’ala (Heavenly Court), that is what happens."

"I remember when I was a child, one of my uncles took me to Rabbi Berland. My uncle had an envelope with money that he gave to Rabbi Berland, saying it was from Rabbi Moyal. Rabbi Berland told my uncle that the amount was going to the Avreichim (married Torah students) who study Torah, because in this world there is nothing except for studying and spreading the Torah. When we returned to Kiryat Gat to Rabbi Moyal, he said, 'The decree has been completely nullified; that’s it, the decree is canceled.'"

"Rabbi Moyal zt"l, in his Ruach HaKodesh (Divine Inspiration), would always say that it is forbidden to speak against Rabbi Berland; one must only strengthen their Emunah (faith) in him, so that the influence of the Rav and his students may grow."
