As in every year, the 'Yaldei HaTzaddik' (Children of the Tzaddik) organization hosted Yeshivas 'Mordechai HaTzaddik'—where hundreds of fathers study with their young sons, just as Mordechai the Tzaddik did with the young children of his time, thereby nullifying harsh decrees from upon the Jewish people.

In addition to all the special events—the play in the Ramot auditorium, the magician, the "Purim-Rav" parade, and more—that were held for Yaldei HaTzaddik during the days of Purim, one of the flagship events, a long-standing tradition, is the special hour of joint father-and-son learning on the morning of Purim.
This year, the learning took place in the courtyard of Talmud Torah Nechamas Tzion, a venue large enough to accommodate the many fathers and sons who participate annually. Approximately 800 children took part this year, may their numbers increase. Special study booklets covering the topics of Purim were printed specifically for this event. At the beginning of the session, every participating father and son received a personal, delightful package in honor of Purim. At the conclusion, they were given premium chocolate and a "check"—a voucher for the highly anticipated Purim gift that everyone is talking about. These are special, personally imported gifts—one tailored for the fathers and another for the sons—which will arrive soon from China, God willing.

How magnificent was the moving sight of children in their Purim costumes, diligently studying Torah together with their fathers on this holy day.
