Studying Torah Until Fire Emerges from a Person - The Daily Strengthening from the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

From the day she was born, Devorah was entirely a blazing fire; since she was an infant, she was a blazing fire for Hashem (God), may He be blessed. She never married; she only served Hashem, and her entire life was dedicated solely to Hashem.

Therefore, Devorah merited to "cut" the leg of the letter Kuf (the 19th letter of the Hebrew alphabet), as it says, "Then Moshe and the Children of Israel sang this song" (Exodus 15:1), where the Kuf was transformed into a Heh (the 5th letter, representing the Divine Name).

Tzedek (justice) and Tzedakah (charity)—through charity [one sweetens the judgments], because Tzedek represents Dinim (judgments). The planet Jupiter (Kochav Tzedek) is a planet of judgment; therefore, Avraham (Abraham) was unable to have children. "Who aroused [justice] from the East" (Isaiah 41:2)—in order for Avraham to be blessed with children, they had to move the planet Jupiter from the West back to the East. Now, Jupiter rises in the East, but once it rose in the West.

One who knows how to move the planet Jupiter is like Methuselah, who moved the sun. For Avraham said to Nimrod, "Do you know how to move the sun?" Nimrod claimed that he created the sun and the moon, just like Pharaoh who said, "The Nile is mine, and I made it for myself" (Ezekiel 29:3).

Then Devorah the Prophetess came and showed that "From heaven the stars fought; from their courses they fought against Sisera" (Judges 5:20). She moved all the stars; she nullified the order of the Mazzalot (astrological signs).

Devorah the Prophetess knew how to move every star in the world, because truthfully, Jabin the King of Hazor was supposed to win. Regarding Sisera, it is said that he was from Harosheth-hagoyim (Harosheth-hagoyim is a biblical site near the Kishon River; it is mentioned in the Book of Judges as the seat of Sisera, the general of Jabin, King of Hazor). If Sisera would have given just one shout, he would have toppled a wall, as it says, "And Sisera cried out" (Judges 4:13). Sisera was a giant; he had 900 fish in his beard when he would immerse in the Kishon River.

A person's work is to be surrounded by fire—a person needs to study Torah, and then a blazing fire will emerge from him. As it is written on page 137 in Tractate Chullin, that when Rav would study with Rebbi (Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi), fire would emerge.

Rav (the student of Rebbi), who was already an Amora (a sage of the Gemara), and fire would literally emerge from Rav's mouth.
