The Call of the Kabbalist Rabbi Morgenstern shlit"a: "We Must Quickly Publish More of the Wondrous Stories about the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a"
A Holy Call from the Tzaddik and Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern shlit"a
Tonight, when the great Kabbalist, the Tzaddik Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern shlit"a, heard about the terrible cruelty of the opponents of the Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a—that while he is hospitalized after a difficult and complicated surgery, those wicked people rushed to forge rabbinic signatures and distribute malicious notices against him—the Tzaddik was deeply shaken. He requested his close associate, the Mashpia Rabbi Baruch Mordechai (Motta) Frank shlit"a, to publish this message worldwide in his name, as follows:
"We must publish as quickly as possible 2 more parts of the book 'Lahavot Esh' [Flames of Fire]. Part 2 regarding all the wondrous stories of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a during all his days of wandering in his exile to the four corners of the globe. And Part 3 regarding all his wondrous stories from all his days sitting in prison... considering that all this is happening while he is being persecuted by almost all of anash [the community] with a cruel persecution that is hard to imagine actually exists... And amidst all this, he continues in his way... to remain silent and mute, and to accept everything with love and a smile!! And to increase in Torah, prayer, mitzvos, and good deeds, and all this with joy, song, and dance... Praiseworthy is the one who causes all this to be published as quickly as possible..."
It should be noted that this comes together with the dramatic announcement of Rabbi Morgenstern shlit"a, stating that his synagogue was destroyed because he did not protest the degradation of the honor of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Here are the words in their original Yiddish:
Praiseworthy is the one who will take a part in helping to hasten as fast as possible the publication of 2 more parts of the book "Lahavot Esh." Part 2 regarding all the wondrous stories and tales that Rabbi Lazer Berland shlit"a went through during all his days of wandering in his exile to the four corners of the globe. And Part 3 regarding all the wondrous stories and tales that he is going through now during all his days sitting in prison... And one must remember that all these wondrous tales are being enacted at a time when he has been going through a most cruel persecution for 4 years already, and the entire time he continues to remain silent and accept everything with love, and only increases in Torah, prayer, mitzvos, and good deeds, and all this with joy, song, and dance—praiseworthy is he!
