The Greatest Heretics Can Only Be Brought Back in Teshuvah Through Music • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is a summary from the daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – yesterday after the Maariv (evening) prayer, Sunday night, the eve of the 27th of Teves, Parshas Bo:

Now we are in Parshas "Bo El Pharaoh" (Come to Pharaoh), which relates to the concept of the "Vacant Space" (Challal HaPanui) discussed in Torah 64 [of Likutey Moharan]. Everyone is studying Torah 64. Regarding neginah (music/melody), there are apikorsim (heretics) who can be convinced, and there are apikorsim who are not worth the effort, like Lieberman who says that one can do whatever they want. In the end, Mozart did not even have money to pay for his burial; they buried him among the poor. In Los Angeles, a man worked for fifty years and bought a house for sixty million dollars, and suddenly everything burned down—until now, everything is still going up in flames. Therefore, it is necessary to open a seminar (educational outreach center) in every place. They sent balloons with "peace," and afterwards they were kidnapped; then people said to them, "Didn't you see the balloons we sent with peace?" Rebbe Nachman writes in Torah 64 that only through neginah is it possible to bring them back in teshuvah (repentance). "Then Moshe sang" (Az Yashir Moshe). "Be silent, for thus it arose in the [Divine] Thought at the beginning" (Shtok, kach ala b'machshava techila). Just as Avraham said to Eliezer, "Donkey, you double-donkey, do you not see the mountain rising in fire?" Devorah was surrounded by fire. "When breaches were made" (Bifroa Praos)—they did not know when Hashem commanded. "Ki" (because/that) is thirty, after that seventy-eight is ninety-six, and another eighty years. That is 176, and another twenty years is 196—they did not perform Bris Milah (circumcision). Therefore, every woman is greater than the man. Now, until Chatzos (midnight), we study and say the prayer of Chatzos, and we sleep at 8:30 so that everyone can be in the seminar. Everyone should register for "Emunas Tzion" without exception. Let no one fall apart. The girls study lessons there; everyone must register their child only there. Now, in another five minutes, everyone should be home. Until Chatzos, the girls should finish Tehillim (Psalms), and the boys should finish 4 pages of Gemara (Talmud). Afterwards, go to sleep. Every girl will be a principal; she will open a seminar in Be'eri, and then there will be no more kidnapped women, and they won't have tattoos, and all of Israel will return in teshuvah, and we will merit the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, Amen!
