The Month of Redemption and Song, When Everything Blossoms • A Prayer for the Molad of the Month of Shevat

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the 29th of Tevet, at 5:56 AM and 17 chalakim (parts of a minute), the Molad (birth of the new moon) of the month of Shevat will occur. Before you is an awesome prayer written by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) for the Molad of the month of Shevat 5785:

THE MOLAD OF THE MONTH OF SHEVAT

Wednesday morning 5:56 AM 17 Chalakim (parts)

Master of the World, Almighty One, from Whom no purpose can be withheld, merit me in the month of Shevat—the month of Geulah (Redemption) and song, when everything blossoms, especially the almond tree which is the first of all trees to bloom. And then, on Rosh Chodesh (the New Moon) of Shevat, Moshe (Moses) began to explain the entire Torah in seventy languages. May I also merit then, on Rosh Chodesh Shevat, to receive a new soul that will bloom and grow. And every single day, may I merit to complete the book of Tehillim (Psalms), and I shall study every single day at least one page of Gemara (Talmud), and I shall complete the entire Tanakh (Bible) every single week, and say three Tikkun HaKlali (The General Rectification) every single day. And through this, the entire world will be renewed and blossom, and all the souls of Jews and gentiles alike will be renewed and blossom as one.
