"The Secret of the Final Clarification" - An Investigation and Summary of the Actions of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Berland from a Personal Perspective

It is possible to download the original PDF file at the end of the article.
"As a fitting response to your question, my good friend!", Rabbi Yair Mor, from the Kollel Yashrei Lev in Rehovot, begins his answer to his friend, who had many hesitations and questions regarding what is happening with the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days). That same friend indeed had questions, but on the other hand, he had simple emunah (faith) in Rabbis and was very reluctant to disagree with a tzaddik (righteous person)."
"The answer, which Yair wrote to his friend, is essentially his fascinating personal story, of how he moved from mocking the people of Shuvu Banim and those drawing close to Rabbi Berland, to finally crossing over to the other side, until he reached a great emunah in Rabbi Berland, and primarily strengthened himself in the service of Hashem."
"The answer presented here is actually for all those observing from the sidelines what is happening with our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a."
Thus begins Rabbi Yair Mor in his letter to his friend: "With readiness and good will to know the whole truth, I am writing you an in-depth letter, the content of which was formed after several years of thought and gathering materials. It will take 10 minutes to read everything written here, but afterwards, you will no longer be the same!"
"On the condition that you read until the end - especially the final part."
"Tell me, how is it that the most slandered politician in the country, about whom all the media stations say is a real danger to the state. Whole hours are dedicated not only to warning against him but to humiliating him, mocking him and his family, and claiming his voters lack opinion and understanding (quote: from a former head of the Mossad!!)"
"What are the chances that such a person would win the support of even 10 people? Those 10 people must surely be deaf, blind, and for extra measure, mute as well. No?"
"It turns out that specifically the screaming headlines, the biased investigations, the terrible slanders—they are precisely what protect him and keep him in his position - in the role of Prime Minister for 10 years already. Why??"
"Rather, we the citizens psychologically sense that someone is trying to brainwash us, disrespects us, and thinks we will buy it. Therefore, we specifically fight for our freedom, as it were. Every publication pushes people, however not always in the direction the publishers desire. Sometimes even in the opposite direction..."

Now let's move to the subject that you and I were so uncertain about!
"There is a man about whom unflattering rumors (to say the least) have been published in recent years, of all types and kinds - Rabbi Eliezer Berland! Anyone who didn't know him personally, or read about him in books, said in their heart (like me, for example), 'Here is another Rabbi who got caught'."
"I was like that with this feeling for several months!"
"I mocked the people who are with him and follow him to all the countries where he was. On the day Rabbi Berland landed in the Land (13 Tammuz 5776, the extradition agreement from Johannesburg), when it was published in the news that hundreds of his followers follow him everywhere, I was very curious to wonder about the nature of these followers. Who are they—violent, disturbed, or just eccentric?"
"After everything published about their Rabbi, they still continue to follow him?" It should be noted that I have no background in Breslov Chassidus or Rabbi Berland's Shuvu Banim community!"
Becoming Acquainted with the Rabbi's Students
"A week later, I happened to pick up a hitchhiker. He said he needed to get to Rishon LeZion; since I live in the area and he looked like a serious person, I took him. On the way, he told me he was going to a "rally" (that's what he called it) in front of the Magistrate's Court in Rishon LeZion, against Rabbi Berland's arrest. We drove together, and I didn't say a word to him on the subject."
"We arrived in Rishon LeZion, I dropped him off in front of the court, I saw a parking spot very close and found myself getting out and starting to walk toward the rally. There were about 2,000 people there. I went deeper and deeper into the crowd, trying to get close to the police barrier in front of the court doors. There were many police officers holding hands to create a human fence, but, in fact, there was no point of friction between Rabbi Berland's people and the police!"
"I looked to see where there was some mess, pushing, signs against the court, the police, the state, maybe shouting at the officers - I found none. I turned around and saw men, women, young men, children, babies in strollers. And everyone was facing an unclear direction."
"I didn't understand; they looked like very normative people. What did they have to do with everything published about them in the last week, and specifically with the suspicions against their Rabbi? (It should be noted there were people of all types, including a significant portion from Religious Zionism and others)."
The Prayer in Melody Broke My Heart
"Until they started praying aloud and with a melody, "Shema Yisrael" and more - here something in my heart broke, I saw something pure and true,
and here I also felt compelled to take one photo.
In the photo I took, you see very serious people, definitely healthy in mind and body, who are praying to Hashem with devekus (attachment). They don't waste a single percent of energy at the rally against the police or the like."
[caption id="attachment_18146" align="alignnone" width="505"]
The photo Yair took himself at the rally in front of the court[/caption]
"I said, there is no way in the world that they are "fooling themselves" and coming to support a Rabbi who is supposedly questionable! I stood near them in total concentration and tried to examine if these people were fake, or members of an eccentric "cult" - as they were presented."
To organize things for myself, during the following days I began to investigate the matter
- An article published about Rabbi Berland"A story from the time of his stay in prison during the detention period (Tzalmon Prison, I believe) and who is the narrator? A prisoner who stayed with him for three months in the same room! He told of the miracles he saw with him. I said, great, nice, but what's the bottom line - how does an 80-year-old man behave in prison? I quote from the article."
"The Rabbi is all day with the large Tallis on him; he also always sleeps with it. He is constantly learning; even when he eats, the book is in front of him, and when he sleeps, it's with an open book on his face. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't care about anything – you see a person who is entirely the service of Hashem, the service of the Creator. He is nullified to Hashem's leadership."
"It's amazing how a person of his age (80) enters a cell and adjusts so quickly. He is so loved here and respected here. Sometimes he sits on a chair and speaks on the phone, giving a class. He strengthens everyone here, even the Arabs; even they come and kiss his hand."
"The part that interested me in the article - The Rabbi's daily schedule"
"The Rabbi is all day attached to books; it's not just one book, he has many books. When I wake up in the morning, I see the whole room full of open books after he learned from them all night. I also wake up with him at night and we learn; he loves his corner in learning." "When they brought the Rabbi shlit"a, everyone volunteered to be with him; he has great popularity here. I understood from him that there is a great decree in the North and therefore the Rabbi needs to be here." Until here is the quote from the article.
"For me, the partner Rabbi Berland had in the cell is the most reliable source I could understand from who the Rabbi is. Since this is a person who happened to be in the same prison room, he is not his publicist or an interested party."
"Among other things, I noticed a detail that lit a red light for me; the Rabbi said to the partner: 'There are decrees about to come upon the Jewish people and therefore the Rabbi is going through what he is going through'! I started to put the puzzle together in my head.
What lies between the dissenters and the truth?
"I read an article 'by those who oppose Rabbi Berland', people calling to boycott him and excommunicate him for reasons understandable to any average Israeli due to the suspicions against him. They write about him that he is a rerun of 'Shabbetai Zvi', because there are certain people who say about him that he is the Mashiach (Messiah)."
"I learned that when they excommunicated and shamed Shabbetai Zvi, he and three hundred families who were with him converted to Islam, and that's how the story died. I also heard that Shabbetai Zvi's problem was that he openly preached to commit sins. But here, for comparison, not only is the Rabbi not hiding, but all the people who come into contact with him say they see him standing and praying almost most hours of the day, delivering classes, going to parlor meetings at night, barely sleeping. Rabbi Berland organizes prayer rallies in Hebron and at the Kotel (Western Wall), and more. Later I learned that he actually suffers from illness throughout his body, had a tumor removed from his legs, has only one kidney, etc."
"All the negative publicity against him only creates a 'boomerang' effect - Rabbi Berland continues to go out and be publicized, acting all the time. Many people who never heard of him are drawing close."
I continued putting the puzzle together!2. "Rabbi Berland brought the Jewish people back in Teshuvah"
How did I reach this conclusion? Let's go back a few years." "I read several books by Rabbi Arush shlit"a, I started with the book 'The Garden of Emunah' and then 'The Garden of Gratitude'. These books changed my worldview, but we will touch on only one detail. To say thank you for every small and large thing, and especially to say thank you also for the bad things that happen to us! Not to cry and be sorry about it, but to pray to God from a different angle - simply start saying thank you!"
"Rabbi Arush has a lot of helpful material for a person who wants to be happy in life; the advice helps those prayers be accepted for the good in this world as well. The books like 'The Garden of Emunah' and its likes entered every place—Chareidi, secular, religious, universities, hospitals, etc. Rabbi Arush: saved an entire country, and today it is very trendy in the Israeli public to say thank you for everything."
"Then I remembered that I saw in a book that the Rabbi who 'taught Rabbi Arush' is actually Rabbi Berland! I was hit by a cold sweat!! How did I not notice this! Rabbi Arush returned to Judaism and studied under Rabbi Berland; he served him for over 25 years!"
"I said to myself, I don't care what they say about Rabbi Berland, now I must have gratitude (hakaras hatov) for the Rabbi who brought Rabbi Arush to the world. Note - Rabbi Arush says in the introduction to the book 'The Garden of Gratitude' that the whole purpose of thanks and praise is to atone for what the Children of Israel complained about for 40 years in the desert and until today, and in order to be redeemed now with a complete Geulah (Redemption), among other things, one must thank Hashem all the time, even for the things that pain us."
The puzzle continues to connect
- Quotes from great Rabbis speaking about Rabbi Berland
Rabbi Dov Kook:
"There are words here from Rabbi Kook that are the secret of the whole affair surrounding Rabbi Berland."
"Rabbi Ofek Cohen Zada: conveys a message from Rabbi Kook who said himself during Seudah Shlishis (the third Sabbath meal), that he sat in the upper worlds together with the Baba Elazar zt"l before he was murdered and together with the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Berland shlit"a. The Holy One, Blessed be He, said to them that there are harsh decrees upon Israel; they asked that He have mercy on His children, but Hashem, may He be blessed, told them that the Attribute of Judgment is accusing and it will not be calmed except through self-sacrifice (mesirus nefesh). Only if one of you is murdered, the second goes into exile, and the third takes upon himself humiliations, will the Attribute of Judgment be calmed."
"The Baba Elazar gave himself over to death for the sake of the Jewish people. Rabbi Berland shlit"a jumped and took upon himself great and terrible humiliations. They reached Rabbi Kook shlit"a who agreed to take upon himself exile, but since he is a Kohen (priest) and his role is to elevate the prayers of the Jewish people, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Berland shlit"a jumped and said that he would take upon himself exile as well"."
"One could say these things are surely imagination, but the truth is stronger, and one can understand from the moves happening here that the Tzaddikim—Baba Elazar, Rabbi Berland, and Rabbi Dov Kook—are sweetening decrees from upon the Jewish people.

Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l:
"A man named Dan Ben-David tells that he asked Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l: "Honored Rabbi, there is much talk around Rabbi Berland shlit"a, some say this and some say that?"
"Rabbi Yoram zt"l smiled at me with a big smile and said quietly in my ear: "Rabbi Berland shlit"a rules over 24 heavenly courts." Rabbi Yoram zt"l answered in such a way that you don't need to hear more to understand who he is. By the way, all the followers of Rabbi Yoram Abergel will tell you more or less the same thing. Rabbi Yoram passed away and his sons say simply that he went as an atonement for the generation to bring the Geulah closer! And another day will come! And we will know what happened here!!

Rabbi Lior Glazer:
Explains beautifully who the Tzaddik Rabbi Berland is: "Gentlemen, show me students like Rabbi Berland has. Whoever knows Rabbi Tzanani, Rabbi Malka, Rabbi Ofer Erez, Rabbi Shalom Arush. Gentlemen, have you ever prayed at the Shuvu Banim Yeshiva? You feel that the Shechinah (Divine Presence) comes from the Kotel and stops to rest at Shuvu Banim. What prayers, what fire, what a community. Rabbi Berland says, 'Gentlemen, there are decrees in the world, we must sweeten the judgments and dance all night.' People in other places stand on Simchat Torah and just clap, but in Shuvu Banim they dance there all night." (Matok MiDevash)

Rabbi Reuven Elbaz:
"Came to a Bris (circumcision) at Rabbi Berland's, then was a guest in his home, and came to strengthen him after he left prison. There is a photo of him with the Rabbi falling on each other's necks - you see Rabbi Elbaz's very great admiration for Rabbi Berland." (A picture is worth a thousand words!!!!!!!)

Rabbi Ba'adani:
Says about the humiliators and opponents of Rabbi Berland - "This is wickedness, it is forbidden; whoever does such a thing will give an account for it. Anyone who publishes things about Rabbi Berland commits a complete prohibition and literally inherits Gehennom (hell). Is it permitted to just say Lashon Hara (evil speech) in the air about a Torah scholar?"
And several times he troubles himself to come and strengthen him, as if to deliver a message to the public in the clearest way: "I am on his side and this Rabbi is a complete Tzaddik!!"

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l was very fond of Rabbi Berland as is known to all; he said of him that he could be the Prime Minister. To us, it crosses our mind that he meant sitting in the Israeli government, but for Rabbi Ovadia, there is a different government in mind."

The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Berland shlit"a visiting Maran Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l[/caption]
Personal testimony of Rabbi Arush - "Rabbi Ovadia loved Rabbi Berland very much.." "Not everyone knows, but the reconciliation meeting between Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu and Rabbi Ovadia was at the Shuvu Banim Yeshiva! As is known, Maran Rabbi Ovadia zt"l asked Rabbi Berland to pray for Rebbetzin Margalit a"h (testimony of Rabbi Eliyahu Shitrit).
His grandson tells: When I came to tell Maran about the rumors and what was happening around Rabbi Berland, even before I opened my mouth, Maran said to me with his Ruach HaKodesh (Divine Inspiration) in these words: "Be careful and watch yourself! You are about to speak about a holy, supreme Tzaddik"
Rabbi Yosef Mugrabi shlit"a
Rabbi Berland is one of the symbols of truth in the world. He has been receiving from the Rabbi for many years and even met with him at a Melaveh Malkah (post-Sabbath meal) in Holon in recent years.

Rabbi Kanievsky – once said of Rabbi Berland that he has no peer in matters of holiness (we will return to Rabbi Kanievsky).
"As is known, the Steipler, Rabbi Kanievsky's father, was Rabbi Berland shlit"a's chavrusah (study partner) 40 years ago. (He didn't choose someone unstable who is a great Rabbi today and tomorrow - who knows), he knew with Ruach HaKodesh what kind of person stood before him!"
Rabbi David Abuhatzeira of Nahariya
"Says that everything is a vile libel, and anyone who dares to touch the well-being of this holy man, Rabbi Berland, whom I personally know as a massive diligent student of Torah, sitting day and night over his studies, a servant of Hashem who is entirely spiritual and completely nullifies his body, will be harmed by it."
"And indeed, Rabbi David met with Rabbi Berland on 17 Adar 5778. He treated him with great respect; he literally stopped receiving the public for fifteen minutes during which he stayed only with the Rabbi. As is known, few if any have merited that Rabbi David would stop receiving the public for them. As soon as they left the meeting, they told that they studied together Torah matters that stand at the height of the world, and then Rabbi David added and asked Rabbi Berland to enter his Beis Medrash (study hall) and learn for the soul of his ancestors."
[caption id="attachment_11178" align="alignnone" width="850"]
Rabbi Berland shlit"a learning in Rabbi David Abuhatzeira's Beis Medrash[/caption]
The Rishon LeZion Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu zt"l "Said before his passing to his wife, Rebbetzin Tzivia Chana Eliyahu, that Mashiach should have come several years ago, but he had to come through Judgment (Din)." He added and said that three Tzaddikim took upon themselves suffering in order to delay the Geulah by several years and to sweeten it. He mentioned two of them, one of them is Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a and the second is Rabbi Dov Kook shlit"a." "The Rabbi's name hints at this – 'Berland,' which means 'Land of the Bear'. We see that in recent years the Persians are threatening us with terrible threats and for several years we have been around nuclear threats. It is known that the root from which the Persian nation draws is the Bear, and their minister in heaven according to the Gemara is called Dubi-el. According to the Vilna Gaon, this is also true of the Russian nation. And they draw from a Tzaddik, and there is no doubt that Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a is one of them."
The Holy Milkman Rabbi Chaim Cohen (whom the Baba Sali revealed and said to go to him and receive his blessing)
"Says all the time that he must announce and warn about decrees revealed to him from heaven, and then it turns out that he is supposedly proven wrong, and nothing special happens... Indeed, they asked the Milkman, you are always announcing and things don't happen?"
"Answered the Milkman, Rabbi Chaim Cohen shlit"a: "What can I do, there is one Tzaddik called Rabbi Berland who is constantly canceling the decrees."
"Do you understand? Rabbi Berland who suffers humiliations today - he sees the decrees and cancels them!"
[caption id="attachment_17963" align="alignnone" width="643"]
The Milkman kisses Rabbi Berland's hand[/caption]
"And when they met on 30 Nisan 5779 at a Bris for Rabbi Berland's great-grandson. Rabbi Berland blessed the Milkman with long life and health, and that he should lead the Jewish people to see the face of Mashiach. The Milkman for his part kissed Rabbi Berland's hand and with emotion returned the blessing as well and said "Together we will lead the Jewish people toward King Mashiach".

The Holy Rebbe of Kaliv
"Rabbi Berland is a righteous man and I can testify, I knew him, I saw him as an upright man, but I ask even of those who are against religion, they need to know if they help bring to light Rabbi Eliezer ben Etia then they have a merit in the World to Come!"
"I ask that in all the Talmud Torahs (schools) they should, with Divine assistance, each in their place, say one chapter of Tehillim (Psalms) with the children to save this precious man whom many need, fortunate is his lot." Rabbi Steinman
"They asked him about the Korach affair, how do we know in every generation who is in the dispute of Korach? And who is Moshe? Rabbi Steinman told them, 'Whoever remains silent is a sign that he is right!'"
Rabbi Grossman of Migdal HaEmek, Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Ifergan, Rabbi Basri, Rabbi Amos Guetta of Netanya, and many more Tzaddikim. From all ends and all sectors, everyone is pleading: stop shaming the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, there is a terrible decree in heaven and he with his power cancels it!!!

The Question of Questions
"If these are the wonderful and awesome things that the giants of Israel say about Rabbi Berland shlit"a, why doesn't Rabbi Kanievsky and several very great Rabbis in the Chareidi public stand up and say with a full mouth - Rabbi Berland is a great Tzaddik?!"
"Simply, it can be understood that this is Rabbi Berland's goal: to receive humiliations, and if everyone praises him, the humiliations will stop. As the Rabbi always says, humiliations atone for the pain of the Shechinah, and additionally, they lengthen his life! (There are many proofs that the Rabbi himself is not interested in being backed up)."
"When the hour that Hashem decides arrives, everyone will say it! Meanwhile, one must still give choice to human beings."
Is the Spirit of Redemption in the Air?
From the day 21 Sivan 5779, a slight change began to be seen, because the three major Batei Din (rabbinical courts) in the Land, - Badatz of Rabbi Karlitz, Rabbi Sariel Rosenberg - Badatz of Rabbi Wosner, Rabbi Shmuel Eliezer Stern - Badatz of the Edah HaChareidis, Rabbi Yehuda Fisher
Issued a halakhic ruling: to immediately stop the persecution of Rabbi Berland and not to speak anything negative about each other, neither in writing nor orally, and more and more."
"Joining with their signatures were the important Gaonim and members of the Badatz, Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, Rabbi Chaim Meir HaLevi Wosner, Rabbi Yehuda Silman, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Lubin, Rabbi Shevach Tzvi Rosenblatt, Rabbi Yosef Binyamin HaLevi Wosner, Rabbi Menachem Mendel HaKohen Shafran, Rabbi Naftali Nussbaum.

Rabbi Berland's Way of Serving Hashem
"Maran the Gaon and Kabbalist Rabbi Morgenstern published a letter in which he wrote that even if Rabbi Berland shlit"a writes a letter and incriminates himself, it is forbidden to believe him, because one must know his way of serving Hashem. - He draws upon himself humiliations, suffering, and incomprehensible things, all for the sake of the Jewish people." "And it is known that twenty-five years ago he told his wife that he was going to establish institutions for twenty-five years and then he would dismantle everything, and asked her if she agreed to this."
[caption id="attachment_10224" align="alignnone" width="1080"]
The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a delivering a special Chanukah class to the Yeshiva students[/caption]
"And also, many years ago he said of himself that a harsh decree of expulsion rests upon him and even composed a prayer for it so that they would pray for him." "There is a young man who testified before one of the Tzaddikim that Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a himself gave him a large sum of money to go and publish corruption and lies that he supposedly committed. That young man did not agree and Rabbi Berland shlit"a told him that he would have suffering; the young man said he didn't care, whatever will be will be, he would not do it. We see from here that there is a great Tzaddik here who takes matters upon himself and no one understands what is happening here."
"Rabbi Shalom Arush shlit"a testified that he began to take actions before the Rabbinical Court in favor of the Rabbi shlit"a, but immediately he received a message from the Rabbi himself to cease doing so. And we remember that before his departure into exile, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a said that now he is going out for three years of exile and afterwards, with Hashem's help, will be the complete Geulah."
"I would not be surprised if finally a day comes and we discover that one of the dissenters and those publishing negative things about the Rabbi was sent by Rabbi Berland himself!"
Messages that Reflect the Reality on the Ground
"Since I see the words of Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi every week, I follow the pamphlets he distributes in synagogues, as well as the classes he delivers throughout the country,
I quote from a message published in Parshat Bechukotai, 14 Iyar 5779."
"No one can prevent Mashiach from acting and going out to the Jewish people. Mashiach does the will of Hashem with great joy; Mashiach acts in every situation."
"The heavy and difficult suffering that Mashiach undergoes, continuing and continuing to do the will of Hashem and save every single Jew, nothing will help anyone. The Mashiach is already here in strong action and many are aware of him. He knows he is the Mashiach. People will look at that person called Mashiach in heaven and on earth and feel that he is the Mashiach; whoever is in the proximity of Mashiach will have miracles and wonders...."
Message in Parshat Beshalach, 7 Shevat 5779
"The Holy One, Blessed be He, also sends our righteous Mashiach to protect and guard the Jewish people at night, and by day, the Mashiach helps the Jewish people. Meanwhile not everyone is aware who the King Mashiach is, but a large part in the Land and the world know that there is a Mashiach in the State of Israel." "Some also know who he is and some know and are afraid to say, waiting to see what the day will bring."
"I see that Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi speaks consistently about the Mashiach who will redeem the Jewish people soon (he does not speak openly about Rabbi Berland)"
"But, to think of a Tzaddik who undergoes great suffering, working day and night (Rabbi Berland also at night travels from place to place for parlor meetings, receives the public until late hours of the night, and the next morning he is at prayers exactly at sunrise (natz hachamah). This I saw right before my eyes many times)"
Continuation of the messages from Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi
""Someone whom some know is the Mashiach and are afraid to say...", certainly there is fear to say in public that specifically Rabbi Berland is the Mashiach! In comparison to the followers of the Lubavitcher Rebbe zt"l, who say with a full mouth 'The Rebbe is King Mashiach'. And here it should be noted that Chabad followers do great things for the Jewish people wherever they are..

Quote from Rabbi Glazer: A Jew who studied in Shuvu Banim told me that he has known Rabbi Moshe Tzanani for 11 years; he said he never saw him in any movement except for study. Sometimes you see students in the coffee corner, sometimes they take a breather, but Rabbi Tzanani, during the 11 years he has known him, he never saw him get up from the table."

The young scholar Gavriel Lavi may he live with the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a[/caption]
Lavi lay for 10 minutes after being stabbed 40 times, 17 of which were fatal stabs, in all parts of his body. He lay bleeding in an alley near Damascus Gate; some of the Arabs in the area filmed him while laughing from the side, everything is documented. "This is a Kiddush Hashem (sanctification of God's name) of one student" from Rabbi Berland's students!
If it were possible to scream through writing, I would scream, period. And if you see such students, it's a sign that their Rabbi is like that!! (An apple tree produces apples! Not tomatoes!)
Pidyon Nefesh (Soul Redemption)
"Why does Rabbi Berland perform Pidyon Nefesh and sometimes ask for large sums for it?!"
"I don't pretend to be the Rabbi's spokesperson," but it is known that there are many reasons for this. For example, if Hashem decided that a certain person should have a certain illness, and that person went to a Tzaddik to be blessed by him. The Tzaddik, certainly, in his great mercy wants the illness to leave, but cannot interfere with the Attribute of Judgment and try to waive the punishment entirely. Instead, the Tzaddik asks him, or his family, to give a respectable sum to charity, and the very pain the person has in giving such a sum, eliminates the heavenly accounts against the person. Then, the person can receive the salvation they need."
"There are cases where people come to Rabbi Berland without a special request, but the Rabbi tells them straight - you need to bring 2,000 NIS for a Pidyon! Simply, go know what the Rabbi is sweetening for him, before the trouble arrives, in fact, even before the person himself knows."
What does the Rabbi do with the money?
"Rabbi Berland immediately transfers the money to his attendants (gabbaim); we have no idea what heavenly providence exists for every single shekel. This is according to my personal opinion only, after seeing things with my own eyes."
"As is known to all, Rabbi Ovadia zt"l sent Pidyon Nefesh to Rabbi Berland several times, and when they asked him, aren't there other Tzaddikim? He answered: "In our generation, the one who knows how to perform a Pidyon is Rabbi Eliezer Berland."
7. The dispute against true Tzaddikim continues in all generations
The dispute against Moshe Rabbeinu (Moses our Teacher)
"
In the Gemara in Tractate Sanhedrin page 110 it is written that they said about Moshe Rabbeinu that one must warn against him and that they suspected him of adultery."
Rabbi Nachman of Breslov
18 testimonies in a rabbinical court were taken against him (Sefer Kochvei Or, Meshech HaNachal p. 352), they also wrote about him that he was a follower of Shabbetai Zvi.
Rabbi Aharon the Great of Karlin (composer of, among others, the well-known melody "Kah Echsof Noam Shabbat") - they also fabricated libels against him.
"Whoever speaks against and slanders a Rabbi like Rabbi Berland takes a dangerous gamble - if they are wrong they have much to lose, and forever! And every extra word is unnecessary. Therefore, it is better not to speak negatively at all about any person!"
- What is happening in the Shuvu Banim community?
"All the people of Shuvu Banim (Rabbi Berland's students), and additional people who joined and believe in the Rabbi's path, join every month in the prayer and outcry rallies that the Rabbi organizes in Hebron, at the Western Wall, at the tomb of Mother Rachel, and more."

"In addition to this, his students pray much for the Rabbi whenever he enters urgent treatments in hospitals. They pray from the walls of their hearts that he should heal and return to his strength healthy and whole. I have seen more than once, people who happened upon the same rally, even those not closest to religion, who immediately connected and said several times the Tikkun HaKlali (General Rectification prayer) with devekus, literally together with them."
"They simply 'glanced and were affected'; many draw close this way to the Creator of the world - The truth is, that this is the goal here in this entire massive move! A simple person, who hears Rabbi Berland, becomes a person who is all day busy saying Tehillim. and draws close to Hashem." "This is Rabbi Berland's hidden intention - to ensure that all the time the Jewish people will awaken to Hashem and be renewed. Especially the Rabbi instills in his community, "Shuvu Banim", the service of Hashem of accepting humiliations - "He hears his shame, remains silent and still".
"Rabbi Berland says, if you hear that they disagree with the Rabbi, not to return to them in the same coin; on the contrary, encourage them, give them money and take care of all their needs. Since the talk and humiliations he undergoes from them lengthen his life."
Hashem helps me understand the Rabbi's leadership
"It was hard for me to understand this leadership at first, until something interesting happened to me as well. I was in a place where, among others, institution managers were present, and there was one who spoke and spoke against Rabbi Berland. I stood up before him and took out a 100 NIS bill, I told him, this is the donation for the institution. I said to him in these words, I am donating to you because that is what the Rabbi commanded me, to give money to those who disagree."
"Next to me was a Rabbi from a certain Yeshiva who suddenly shouted, 'Wow, there is something real here'.'"
The words of Rebbe Nachman from Likutey Moharan, Torah 260, on accepting humiliations "It is explained there, that the Ten Martyrs (Asara Harugei Malchut) gave their lives in order to save tens of thousands of the Jewish people. Rebbe Nachman explains that there is one Tzaddik who does another type of self-sacrifice, a Tzaddik who gives over his 'name' in public, meaning, who receives humiliations. This is especially true if he is "very famous"; by this he saves tens of thousands of the Jewish people. These are his words there:"
"For there are Ten Martyrs who gave their lives for the sanctification of Hashem's Name (Kiddush Hashem)... and they saw in those generations that it was impossible to rectify and perform unifications above except through their souls, therefore they gave their lives for Kiddush Hashem... and so too through the loss of the name (humiliations)... meaning that there is one who is famous, and yet not famous. Meaning that he is famous in everyone's mouth and everyone speaks of him, and nevertheless he is not famous, for he is not considered important at all, and there is one who does not desire this, only that he lost the fame, meaning the loss of the name which is the soul (for everyone shames him and he does not prefer at all to be famous)."
"But there is one who does this by his will and with his knowledge, that he gives over his soul for Kiddush Hashem, meaning his fame... and because of this, even though he is famous! Nevertheless he is not famous at all!! For on the contrary, it is the opposite, for everyone speaks about him, and fabricates lies about him that never entered his mind, and he has literal bloodshed from this, and he does this intentionally, for it is a category of literal self-sacrifice, for the name is the soul as mentioned above, and he saves Israel by this from what was fitting to come upon them, Heaven forbid, for the sake of the unification as mentioned above."
"And by the giving over of his name - which is his soul - he saves them as mentioned above."
"Suddenly the Likutey Moharan was very understandable to me!"
Likutey Moharan Torah 260 (Wikisource) click here
And as if to strengthen it even more, the name "Eliezer" is hinted here!! Where? Exactly in the sentence "There is one who does this" (Yeish Echad SheOseh Zos)... The first letters Y, A, S, Z, = 318. Eliezer = 318. Unbelievable! It is clear to me that Rebbe Nachman hinted his name to us! Pure and simple!!! (And please, explain to me any other reality...)And if we connect all the pieces of the puzzle, a startling thing emerges
The Secret of the Final Clarification
"Hold on tight! Try not to take a side, and hold onto common sense, thus you will understand what is actually happening here, it will simply shake you!"
"If you observe Rabbi Berland's service of Hashem, about which there is no dispute that he bequeathed wonderful things to the public such as: emunah, thanks and praise, not to fear anything except Hashem, Hisbodedus (secluded prayer), receiving humiliations with love, guarding of the eyes, saying Chatzos (midnight lamentations), and learning before dawn - to cry over the pain of the Shechinah (Divine Presence). (By the way, 'Tza'ar HaShechinah' [pain of the Shechinah] = 750, 'Eliezer Berland ben Etia' = 750) and other practices that there is no dispute that he and his students fulfill them."
It is very important to pay attention! "Simply, with all of Rabbi Berland's genius and the Torah he learned, in a few moves he would have been in the front row of Rabbis, then we would all be enchanted by the splendor and honor that all the giants of the world would show around him. But, Rabbi Berland did not want them to draw close to him because of externality and honor, not because this Rabbi has many fans in the media." "Draw close and persevere, continue in his service of Hashem, in truth and simplicity, even when the Rabbi sometimes looks different - you will gain by proving your closeness to Hashem is for the sake of Heaven. "
This is the secret, the final clarification in the generation
Personal Testimony
I am not ashamed to write this since it is for benefit; I started saying thank you for everything, so at home they know.. One day I received a very painful blow and my hand got caught while walking in the door handle, I screamed 'Ouch!', my child at age 3 and a half said to me from the bed - 'Abba, say thank you'. I turned to him, lifted him to the ceiling and shouted - Sweetheart! You are an angel of Hashem Tzevaot in embodiment. If this was absorbed by you, it's a sign that this is the truth - and fortunate is the Rabbi who brought this Torah to the world!!"

One can believe or not believe the things written here. One can interpret this way or that way (there will always be someone who says the opposite.. )
Think with common sense: There is a great move here. And we in the world go every morning in the race of life, and don't always stop to think. After all, at some point every Jew believes that Hashem wants to build the Holy Temple and redeem us once and for all. At least be a good businessman who doesn't miss an investment opportunity... And from this article let us say Tehillim for the healing of Rabbi Eliezer Berland ben Etia shlit"a, and even study for his success, and think and participate in his pain. We opened a line for reading chapters of Tehillim for the healing of Rabbi Berland shlit"a: 08-6186360We are in a time of a great hour of will and mercy, we must not be indifferent now. Who knows, maybe we too will merit the Geulah with mercy, Amen!!!
