"The Tzaddik Can Teach All Wisdoms in One Day, One Hour, One Second!" • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Presented before you is a summary of topics from the daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – yesterday after the Ma'ariv (evening) prayer, Thursday night, the eve of the 14th of MarCheshvan, Parshas Vayera:
Every father needs to watch over his son during the time of prayer. The Gemara (Talmud) says that a son who does not study Gemara is worth like a rag (meaning, he lacks spiritual form). The wife cooks, mops the floor, and teaches others how to be a teacher and a principal. Every girl will be a principal in all the kibbutzim (settlements) so that girls will not go into captivity and they won't be eliminated. Gallant [the Defense Minister] removed all the soldiers and took everyone's rifles, and those who remained had only 15 bullets. Every man needs to study with his wife the laws of gifts (Hilchos Matana) 5:61 regarding Chana the Prophetess, who saw the miracle of Chanukah eight hundred years before it happened. One should study for an hour every day with his wife. King David was supposed to live 210 years. Rabbi Avraham Yosef would arrive home at two in the morning, and his wife would be studying Gemara with the children. The Halacha (Jewish law) rules that a daughter is more important than a son. The sons descend, while the daughters ascend level after level. Every father needs to watch over his son, ensuring he fulfills the acronym of "Tzaddi"k": 90 Amens (Tzadi=90), 4 Kedushas (Dalet=4), 10 Yehei Shmei Rabbas (Yud=10), and 100 Brachos (Kuf=100 - blessings). The Imrei Noam says that the word "Macharish" (silent) is the Gematria (numerical value) of Yaakov and Esav, because Eliezer [the servant of Abraham] did not want the shidduch (marriage match) because he saw Esav and "her pitcher on her shoulder" (Kada Al Shichma). But Esav is the klipah (impure shell); one cannot see the red inside, and one cannot see Yaakov. It was only Rabbi Meir of Dzikov who revealed this. One must study all the holy books. The Ohr Ein Sof (Infinite Light) is found only in the study of Gemara. The daughter needs to read the Parsha (Torah portion) twice; she is exempt from the Targum (Aramaic translation), but she should read it with Rashi, the Imrei Noam, and Likutey Moharan. I used to be a Litvak (Lithuanian-style scholar); we traveled from Haifa to Bnei Brak by train. The Rebbetzin (the Rav's wife) gave me a test on Likutey Moharan and I received a zero. Then she told me, "You must study Breslov." I started from the Sippurei Ma'asiyos (Rebbe Nachman’s Stories), specifically from the story of the Third Day, which teaches that the Tzaddik can teach all wisdoms in one day, in one hour, in one second. The girls can know all wisdoms, even E=mc squared, and through this, the complete Geulah (Redemption) will come, speedily in our days, Amen!
