The Tzaddik's Self-Sacrifice: Late-Night Home Circles with Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a in Ashdod

On Thursday of the week of Parshas Haazinu 5780 (2019), our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), arrived for "home circles" (outreach gatherings) in the city of Ashdod. For the sake of bringing those far from Torah closer in Ashdod, the Rav shlit"a did not pray the Mincha (afternoon) prayer in his regular house of prayer on Ido HaNavi Street, and the holy community waited for the Maariv (evening) prayer until the Rav shlit"a returned from zikuy harabbim (bringing merit to the masses).

Among the other stops, our teacher Rabbi Berland shlit"a arrived at a home circle on Abramsky Street in Ashdod. From there, he continued to other locations, where he met with the people of Israel and worked to bring merit to the masses.
