“They Prepared Balloons for Them, But There was No One Left to Release Them”

These are his holy words:

There is no war in the north.  Lebanon has announced that there is no longer anything to fear, that they are not going out to war.  America has promised that everything will work out.

A thousand missiles a day – so what if there are a thousand missiles a day?  The Jews are a people who whine about everything.  Six million of them were killed, so they whine.  But after all, the Jews killed 25 million Germans.  They will yet sue the Jews in the end.  One day, you will hear that they are suing the Jews – they are guilty.  They killed 25 million Germans.  The Germans killed six million Jews – so why are you killing 25 million Germans?  There’s no proportion, no equality.  There’s no “shivion b’netel” (sharing the burden).  Wherever you look, you will see that there’s no equality -- it’s always discrimination.  And who is discriminating?  The Charedim.

They say: Hamas are our friends.  Hamas are their darlings, but yeshiva bachurs, especially Shuvu Banim, are the enemies.  Whoever was in Zikim saw in the orchard there, in the cultural center, on the entire wall, [it was written,] “You [Hamas] are our friends.”  They prepared balloons with the inscription, “You are our brothers.”  This was [referring to] Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad – You are our brothers, we love you.  They prepared balloons for them, only that there was no one left to release them.  Hashem simply took them away; He could no longer tolerate such promiscuity.

Like Rabbi Chanina ben Dosa, who would suffice with a “kav” (a small measure) of carobs from Shabbat to Erev Shabbat.  Eat a kav of carobs, eat one orange a day.  The Rebbe says that even priests know that this [relations] is forbidden.  The Rebbe brings it in section 16.

Even a gentile knows that this is the most impure, disgusting thing.  Clinton was impeached from the presidency because he had a forbidden relationship.  If he had told the truth, they wouldn’t have impeached him.  He spoke falsehood, so they impeached him immediately.

There is nothing more disgusting than this.  A person can never reach any grasp of Godliness.  It’s all about the red heifer, that a person becomes dust and ashes – “I am dust and ashes” (Bereishit 18:27).  Moshe said, “What are we?" (Shemot 16:7).  David said, “I am a worm” (Tehilim 22:7).  “A worm” is still something, and likewise “dust and ashes.”  Dust causes things to grow, and soap is made from ashes.  But Moshe said, “What are we” – we do not even exist.  “What are we that you should complain against us?”  We read this now (Shemot 16, Parashat Beshalach).

All Lesson 55 (Likutey Moharan) is about the red heifer, that a person needs to rectify all the heretics, all the philosophers.  Since they are adulterers, they are incapable [of thinking clearly], so they became heretics.  A person who commits adultery burns his intellect, burns his heart.  He has no heart; he has no intellect.

All of this is Lesson 55 – "Hashem’s justice," that a person sees that Hashem lives and exists.
