"This Site Publishes the True Da'as of Rebbe Nachman" - A Special Talk by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for the 'Shuvu Banim International' Website

A special talk by our Master, Teacher, and Rabbi, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for the 'Shuvu Banim International' website.

"We must continue to develop this website (Shuvu Banim International) and ten thousand people need to subscribe to the site and browse it every day," declares Rabbi Berland shlit"a. "Because this site publishes the true Da'as (wisdom/perspective) of Rebbe Nachman regarding studying Torah in depth (b'iyun), for the true Da'as of Rebbe Nachman is the study of Torah in depth," continues Rabbi Berland shlit"a, explaining why one must browse and subscribe to the 'Shuvu Banim International' website every day.
"Only through studying Torah in depth will the Geulah (Redemption) come. Everyone is obligated to study teachings 101 and 62 in Likutey Moharan, where Rebbe Nachman says that one must sharpen the intellect."

"Serach the daughter of Asher wept and said, 'Look what happened to my grandfather (Yaakov); he has been crying for twenty years because of Yosef.' 'The beloved of Hashem shall dwell in safety' (Devarim 33:12)—this refers to the tribe of Binyamin who jumped into the water after Nachshon ben Aminadav, and everyone threw rocks at them. If the tribe of Binyamin had accepted the suffering and the blows with more joy, the complete tikkun (rectification) would have arrived. Every blow is a delight; every blow is my life. For the tribe of Binyamin is the tribe of those who [completely nullify themselves like] 'suicides,' who do not care about anything, and they jumped into the sea."

"When rocks and stones are thrown at a person, he must accept everything with joy. When they come to strike you, do not answer; step aside. Mordechai the Tzaddik did not tremble or move; there is no such thing as hitting back, Heaven forbid; a Jew does not hit back. Against Yehoshua bin Nun, they made placards and pashkevilim (posters). 'You are a severed head,' they told him. 'Why do you believe in Moshe? Why do you follow Moshe blindly? Think a little, use your own independent brain, do you not have discretion? Where is Moshe sending us? To fight giants.' Granted , Pharaoh was 60 cm tall, Nevuchadnetzar was half a cubit (approximately 30 cm), but it is impossible to fight Og, King of Bashan, who uproots an entire mountain."
"However, Yehoshua answered them, 'No! Even if Moshe tells us to ascend to the heavens—if the Tzaddik tells us to ascend to the heavens—we will make ladders.' Devorah said to go out and fight Sisera—Sisera is like Putin, Russia today—but the tribe of Zevulun went out because they merited to be without a heart; they merited nullification, to [the level of] Ayin (Nothingness)."

"The Gemara in Gittin, page 45, tells the most terrible story in the world about the two daughters of Rav Nachman who fell into captivity and did not want to return home. He went and hid and listened to the conversations they were having, saying to one another, 'Let's run away from here.' In the end, they did do teshuvah (repentance), but at that moment it was a terrible thing. The Ben Ish Chai says that a person thinks that daughters grow up on their own, but it is not so. If you do not supervise and guard your daughters, if you do not take care to raise them, what happened to the daughters of Rav Nachman will happen to you. A person needs to take his daughters and study Likutey Halachos with them, to sing zemiros (Shabbat songs) with them. If they do not have an experience from the Shabbat, they are liable to go out and find themselves criminal company."

"They chase after Shuvu Banim with bats, with sticks; it is forbidden to hit back, forbidden to hit back. One must only lower one's head and hear all the slanders."
