On the occasion of the start of the winter zman (semester) and as a strengthening towards the Million Man Rally, on Wednesday, the night of the 8th of Mar-Cheshvan, a lesson took place at the residence of our teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, for the students of Yeshivat 'Breslov - Chochma V'Daat' under his leadership.

Before you is a summary of the lesson that was delivered:

Also, how he reached Istanbul and nullified the decree against the Jews. "How could one pursue a thousand"—this refers to King David, who would kill a thousand with one arrow. After the sin with Bathsheba, it dropped to eight hundred with one arrow, and he prayed for this. The nations of the world heard "I [am Hashem]" and said, "This is a god like all other gods." But when it reached "Honor your father and your mother," they said, "A god who tells you to honor someone else—this is truth!" Before the Flood, six hours of rain fell; Hashem waited for them to do teshuvah (repentance). On Lag BaOmer, Hitler committed suicide and Germany surrendered. On the Hilula (anniversary of passing) of his son, Rabbi Elazar bar Rashbi, Japan surrendered. If a person says "Yotam ben Uzziah," he is immediately saved (remembered for salvation) from all troubles. One must go tomorrow to the Million Man Rally, but instead of listening to the speeches, it is better to recite ten Tikkun HaKlalis. The secular people agree to "Torato Umanuto" (his Torah study is his profession), but they discover that this one works in a carpentry shop, and that one isn't exactly studying... We must study all day, to show them that we are truly "Toratenu Umanutenu" (our Torah study is our profession).
