Two Amazing Prayers Before Lighting the Ner Tamid by Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

With the help of Hashem, May He be Blessed, for Shuvu Banim, for the sake of Heaven, 5776, on Rosh Hashanah

First Prayer by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Lighting the Ner Tamid
Master of the World, as I raise the Ner Tamid (Eternal Candle) before You in holy trembling, in fear and shaking, awe and dread, please draw down upon me the Hidden Light—the light about which it is said that it is seven times the light of the sun. May I merit the 370 lights that Eve merited on the day of her creation. And through the Ner Tamid, may all the blemishes I have caused before You from my existence until this day be rectified. May all the lights that I damaged from the day of my birth until now shine upon me, and restore to me all the lights that I darkened. And by my kindling the Ner Tamid, may the light of Rebbe Nachman go forth and illuminate the entire world. May the whole world walk by his light, and may the light of Rebbe Nachman be revealed—the light of the Seven Days [of Creation]. And in the merit of the holy Ner Tamid, may all evil in the entire world be burned away, and may everyone see the light of Hashem, as it is written: "House of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Hashem." May we merit, in the merit of the Ner Tamid, to hear the Ten Commandments anew, and to see the lights and torches of the Giving of the Torah. And just as You granted merit to Deborah the Prophetess, who is called Eshet Lapidot (Woman of Torches), in the merit of the wicks she made—and they saw torches above her tent—so too, grant me the merit to see miracles and wonders, lights and lights of lights. And may my entire life be filled only with the light of Hashem, with the light of Rebbe Nachman.

Second Prayer by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Lighting the Ner Tamid
Master of the World, as I stand before You now, before lighting the Ner Tamid, in awe and fear and terrible dread, in trembling and quaking and weakness of the knees, to draw the soul of Rebbe Nachman into the world through lighting the Ner Tamid.
Please, Merciful and Gracious One, Omnipotent One, please do according to the greatness of Your infinite wonders, that the soul of Rebbe Nachman should be spiritually implanted within me at the hour of lighting the Ner Tamid—within me, within my wife, and within all the members of my household. And through this, draw down for us all healings and all salvations, and may we no longer know of any ache or pain. And restore to me, to my wife, and to all my household members all the mochin (Divine Consciousness) through the pure olive oil, which is the mochin of Abba (Wisdom) drawn from Arich Anpin (The Long Countenance), Atika Kadisha (The Holy Ancient One), and Adam Kadmon (Primordial Man).
