Walls of My Towers ◇ Hanukkah Gathering for the Students and Alumni of Yeshivat Mitchabrim

As every year, this Hanukkah as well, a Hanukkah gathering was held for the students of Yeshivat Mitchabrim with the participation of our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days).

This year, the gathering took place in our Beis Medrash (study hall) on the night of the 28th of Kislev, the fourth night of Hanukkah. The Hanukkah gathering for Yeshivat Mitchabrim began at 10:30 PM with the entrance of dozens of youth into our Beis Medrash.
The Mashpia (spiritual mentor), Rabbi Yaakov Amsalem shlit"a, was honored with lighting the fourth candle. During the nigunim (spiritual melodies) of awakening following the lighting, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, entered the gathering and took his seat after ten minutes of singing. The Rav began his holy address, and for fifteen minutes, he strengthened the youth of our holy community. Among other things, he spoke about Hanukkah matters and the miracles that double themselves, and he even encouraged the young men to break their impure devices (unfiltered technology) and to distance themselves from addictions.
At the conclusion of the gathering, the Rav shlit"a distributed Chanukah Gelt (Hanukkah money) to the youth, and after about half an hour, he ascended to his holy residence to the singing of "Or Zarua L'Tzaddik" (Light is sown for the righteous).
