What Would the Baba Sali Do Every Night in a Tiny Room? – For the Hilulah Day

Every second, a person can bring the King Messiah.  Every second, the Messiah can come!  It’s only dependent on the humility of a person, the endless humility that a person has.  Rabbah bar Rav Huna merited to such endless humility and Rava sought his humility, but didn’t merit to it.  He didn’t merit to the humility of someone who sat in a vat of water.  These are the tears of the Jewish people, the tears of all those who were killed during those periods.  There was no period in which multitudes, millions of Jews were not killed.  No fifty years passed without them killing several hundred, a thousand Jews.  This time in Russia, this time in Spain, this time in Germany, this time in France.  And every time this was…  there were Tzaddikim who saw all the tears.  They saw from one end of the world to the other.  With these tears, they would say their Tikkun Chatzot (Midnight Lamentation).  They would cry before Chatzot.

Just yesterday, someone told me that he would visit each time there by the Baba Sali in Netivot.  He has a special merit there.  He says that he himself took care of Simi, the wife of the Baba Sali.  He himself performed for her all her dental work.  So he related about her that she told him that there is a certain room by the Baba Sali, and she doesn’t allow anyone to enter this room.  It appears mamash like a small cell.  In this room, the Baba Sali would sit every night for several hours from Chatzot and cry like a baby.  He would cry and cry and cry!  Rivers of tears!!  Until he would mamash sit in a puddle of tears.  She would run to the room when he would just leave the room in order to clean the room.  She would have to take several sponges, several buckets.  She says several buckets…  It’s unbelievable…!

This means that Tzaddikim, those unique in their generations, could mamash cry puddles of tears, and would sit and cry over the afflictions of the Jewish people.  Tzaddikim saw all the afflictions!  They saw all the Jewish people!  All the slaughters, everything was revealed to them.    When a person purifies himself, everything is revealed to him.  He sees all the suffering!  He can cry for three days.  He sees everything!  She would mamash fill several buckets of tears.  She would have to gather several bucketsful!  People ask, “What are Tzaddikim?”  Do we have any comprehension of Tzaddikim?!  Any comprehension of Tzaddikim in our generation?!  Any comprehension?!  Any comprehension?!
