Heart-Gladdening Rabbi Shimon Peretz shlit"a, with the Participation of the Great-Grandfather, the Gaon, Maran Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Karp shlit"a

A Lesson and Stories from the 'Heart-Gladdener' Rabbi Shimon Peretz shlit"a on the Greatness of our Teacher Rav Berland shlit"a ■ Our Teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a was Honored with Sandakut and Blessings ■ A Conversation of Holy Angels Following the Brit Between the Two Tzaddikim
A special Brit was held on Tuesday, 28 Adar I, at the residence of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a. The Brit was for R' Nachman Peretz, may he live and be well—the son of the public inspirer, senior lecturer, and 'heart-gladdener' Rabbi Shimon Peretz shlit"a—and son-in-law of R' Shmuel Chruzinski shlit"a, a Rosh Metivta at Yeshiva 'Chochma V'Daat' and publisher of the books of our teacher the Rav shlit"a—who is the son-in-law of the great Gaon, author of the book 'Hilchot Chag B'Chag', Maran HaGaon R' M.M. Karp shlit"a.
Until the arrival of our teacher the Rav shlit"a to the Brit, the 'heart-gladdener' and public inspirer, the grandfather Rabbi Shimon Peretz shlit"a, spoke words of encouragement and shared stories regarding the greatness of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a.
The great-grandfather, HaGaon R' M.M. Karp shlit"a, was honored as 'Kvatter', the grandfather Rabbi Shimon Peretz shlit"a was honored with the Chair of Elijah, and our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a was honored with Sandakut and the blessings. The act of circumcision was performed with skill by our community's Mohel, R' Yosef Shor, may he live and be well. 'And his name shall be called in Israel, Natan ben R' Nachman; just as he has entered the covenant, so may he enter into Torah, the marriage canopy, and good deeds.'
Following the Brit, HaGaon R' M.M. Karp entered the room of our teacher the Rav, and the two engaged in a conversation of holy angels for many long minutes, blessing one another with great friendship and love between the two tzaddikim.
