Comforting the Mourners in the Inner Sanctum for the Family of the Esteemed
Rabbi Moshe Tzanani of Blessed Memory

Two weeks after the passing of the distinguished disciple, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Tzanani ztz"l, we bring documentation from the comforting of mourners by his primary teacher, our teacher and rabbi, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, to the family members during the shiva.
On one of the nights of the shiva, the family members of Rabbi Moshe Tzanani ztz"l ascended to the inner sanctum to receive words of comfort from our teacher the Rav shlit"a.
After Tikkun Chatzot, our teacher the Rav shlit"a came out to the living room of his home and sat across from the sons of Rav Tzanani, and for about half an hour his mouth did not cease from eulogizing and comforting after the passing of the greatest of his disciples.
At the beginning of his words, the Rav told the story of his drawing near and the virtue of the awesome greatness of the spiritual attainment of his faithful disciple. Afterwards, in his holy way, he spiced his words with words of Torah from all the hidden treasures of the holy Torah.
At the conclusion of the comforting, the sons recited Kaddish after their great father, and our teacher the Rav shlit"a went back into his holy residence, saying, "May the Omnipresent comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may you know sorrow no more."
