In the Six-Day War they saw Hashem eye to eye — everyone was shouting “Hashem Hu HaElokim” (Hashem—He is the God) in the streets.

It was in 5727 (1967). They shouted in the streets—you weren’t born yet. They shouted, “Hashem Hu HaElokim, Hashem Hu HaElokim,” in all the streets. Secular Jews were walking around shouting, “Hashem Hu HaElokim, Hashem Hu HaElokim.”
