"I Will Sit in Prison for Two Years Instead of 12 Years
and From This Goodness Will Grow for Israel" - the holy tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

"A short period before our teacher Rav Berland was arrested, the Rav spoke several times that, Heaven forbid, he was going to sit in prison for 12 years; many heard this."
A wondrous testimony regarding the words of our teacher, the holy Gaon Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, long before he was sentenced to sit in prison for two years. The testimony is from the Kav HaTzaddik (02-532-6502).
"One of our anash (members of the community), I heard this firsthand, asked the Rav how it is possible to sweeten the decree. The Rav answered him: 'Let them travel at night to Hebron, and in this way, they will sweeten the decree.' Indeed, at night, they organized two minibuses with people who traveled to Hebron."
"The next morning, the Rav arrived very happy and said to the one who organized the minibuses: 'You have sweetened the decree; now I will only sit for two years.'"
"That same person thought to himself, if 10 years are sweetened by traveling to Hebron, he asked the Rav: 'How is it possible to sweeten it so that the Rav does not sit at all?'"
"The Rav said to him: 'You are only thinking about yourself, you are not thinking about others!' Along with all sorts of talk in this vein. Afterward, the Rav told him to come to him in the evening. When he arrived in the evening, the Rav repeated and said: 'You are only thinking about yourself, you are not thinking about others, you are not thinking about the good that will sprout from this; afterward, it will be so good!'"
"That same person reminded the Rav that he had said that after he leaves prison, he would be more with the community. The Rav repeated and said to him that he is not thinking about others and that afterward, such great things will sprout from this! From all of this, we see that Rav Berland is leading a massive campaign here and that the tzaddik sees everything."
We will return, with Hashem's help, later to the wondrous testimony with which we began, and we will move on to the wonderful words of Rav Nir Ben Artzi shlit"a, words that miraculously remind one of the words of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a.
In the words he delivered on the night of the 27th of Kislev 5782, Rav Nir Ben Artzi shlit"a addressed the way of the revelation of Mashiach ben David; these are his words.
"And it came to pass at the end of two full years, and Pharaoh was dreaming, and behold, he was standing by the Nile."
"Two years passed; Joseph was supposed to be in the pit for at least another 10 years, or 5 or 10, but not just two years. But the Creator of the world shortened the time to two years, just as Hashem shortened the exile to 210 years... Pharaoh only dreams after two years."
And we will return to the wondrous testimony from the Kav HaTzaddik, which shows how far the true tzaddik, our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a, sees, and how far his war reaches for the sake of the complete Geulah of Israel, with Hashem's help.
"Further on the matter of Hebron, one of our anash told me that after the Rav was arrested, he was in contact with the Rav and asked the Rav how he could help him. The Rav told him to travel every night to Hebron. Even when they arrested the Rav, they said in his name that the Rav said that they should travel to Hebron and recite 7 Tikkun HaKlalis. We see that the matter of Hebron is very important; there were also many battles over the gatherings in Hebron, the police fought against it. We see that it is a very important thing."
"Another story. About 10 years ago, there was a very widely discussed statement that the Rav said that now he is beginning to fight with the klipah (shell/force of evil) of the Zionists. A lot of time has passed since then."
"And in the period decades ago, when they traveled to Uman with forged passports, the Rav constantly spoke about the fact that they were fighting with the klipah of Russia and that they would fall. And a year before they fell, the Rav said: 'A little longer and they will fall.' Indeed, in the end, they fell in a miraculous way without any war."
"We see that the tzaddik's war is at the root; this is a different war than what we think. Our help is only through prayers, each one as he merits; all the gatherings, the assemblies, the holy things, this is truly the war. The war is there; the Rav is fighting them, at the root of things."
