A Special Lesson for Newcomers from the City of Harish and Monthly Activities of the Newcomers Group

A lesson at the home of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, for newcomers, and the activities of the newcomers group in a lesson delivered monthly by the son of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a.

Even in the city of Harish, which is becoming increasingly observant, there are new individuals drawing close to Breslov and to our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. Some of them entered into the inner sanctum on the night of Purim Katan—14th of Adar I—for a special lesson from our teacher, the Rav shlit"a.

In a special strengthening lesson delivered by our teacher, the Rav, to the members of the newcomers group, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, spoke on a number of topics. Among them: shalom bayit (peace in the home), serving Hashem with joy, current matters regarding the days of Purim, and more... while interweaving his holy words, as is his holy custom, with stories from Chazal found in many places throughout the Shas, and other treasures of the holy Torah. Also participating in the lesson were the great students of our teacher, the Rav, the esteemed Rabbi Moshe Tzanani shlit"a, the esteemed Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a, and the esteemed Rabbi Shlomo Elmalich shlit"a.

One of the participants in the lesson told the "Shuvu Banim" website that the newcomers group began its activities in the city of Harish about half a year ago, with a group of about thirty newcomers and Breslov Chassidim gathering monthly to hear words of Torah and Aggadah in a lesson from the son of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, R' Nachman Berland shlit"a, at the home of one of the newcomers in the city of Harish. He also noted that although not the entire group had yet merited to draw close to our teacher, the Rav, when they heard there was a lesson at the home of Rav Berland, they requested to join the lesson...

'We are all hopeful,' said the avreich, 'that the lesson at the home of our teacher, the Rav, will provide momentum to continue and further advance the activities, such as bringing additional rabbis from the students of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, to the city of Harish to draw more Jews to the great light of our holy Rebbe and in the path of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a.'
