Moshe’s Humility — The Daily Chizuk from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer
Berland shlit"a

The Daily Chizuk from our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a – "The Zohar says that Hashem told Moses how to write every letter in the Torah."
Wednesday, 14 Cheshvan 5785 – "The Power of the Letters of the Torah," a special lesson delivered to the members of Hitchadshut, these are his holy words:
All the problem was that Moses claimed he was Korach (due to his humility and self-effacement), and Korach claimed he was Moses – that was the entire dispute.
Korach said: I am Moses, who are you at all?
Moses says: It is true, I admit that I am nothing.
(Korach said:) You are not! You should be beneath the earth; Moses rose above the face of the earth, he should be beneath the face of the earth.
Beneath the earth? So Korach merited to be (himself) beneath the earth – whatever a person asks from the tzaddik, he merits, so Korach merited to be beneath the earth.
Moses our teacher says: I am Bilaam, I am Bilaam, I am Bilaam, I call out 'Vayikra' (And He called).
Hashem says to him: Write 'Vayikra'; the Zohar says that Hashem told Moses how to write every letter. (Hashem) said to him, write a Vav, write a Yud.
The Torah was not written just like that; every letter is secrets, secrets of secrets, with every letter one can transform the entire world.
For example, a person prays Maariv word by word, letter by letter. One can pray Maariv in five minutes, the entire prayer can be finished in two minutes.
So Hashem told Moses how to write the Torah, He said to him 'Bereshit', write a Bet, write a Resh, write an Aleph – Hashem showed Moses the Bet upon the entire world, it is not just that He showed him.
Ahaz does not believe in anything, Isaiah says to Ahaz, "Ask for yourself a sign from Hashem your God, deepen the request or raise it on high" (Isaiah 7:11), I will show you Korach, do you want to see Korach? Do you want to be like Korach?
I will open the earth for you now, you will see Korach! Until today he is boiling in the earth!
And all the generations from the First Temple, the Tannaim, knew the secrets of every single letter – in every letter (in the Torah) there are awesome secrets, every letter.
If we are in Bereshit, what is the Bet? What is the Resh? What is the Aleph? 720 combinations, there are 6 letters, 720 combinations. Four letters is 24 combinations. If five is 120, 6 is 720.
