Moving: An Ascent to the Western Wall After Two Years
the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

After two years, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived for a visit to the Western Wall, the site of our Holy Temple.
Following the long period during which he was unable to arrive, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, tore his garment facing Mount Zion, the site of the Temple.
After approximately two years, and following many difficult tribulations, our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived at the Western Wall at the hour of midnight on the 23rd of Tevet, 5782, accompanied by his family members and descendants, facing the site of the Temple. The Rav shlit"a tore his garments as ruled in the Halacha, and afterwards, he sang chapters of Psalms and emotional songs together with the public with immense spiritual awakening.
Finally, the Rav shlit"a descended to the Western Wall plaza and offered a prayer before the remaining stones of the mountain of our Holy Temple, the Western Wall.
In the video, one can see our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, in footage from the roof of the Aish HaTorah institutions in the Old City.
