Prayer for the New Moon of the Month of Shevat 5782
The Righteous Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

With the help of Hashem, for the sake of Heaven, for the sake of the merit of the public.
Molad of the month of Shevat: Night of Monday, 1st of Shevat, 2:02 after midnight, 15 chalakim (parts) of the month of Shevat.
The month of song, the New Year for trees according to Beit Shammai on the 1st of Shevat, and according to Beit Hillel on the 15th of Shevat. From the Molad begins the illumination of the song of the angels, in the secret of the song, in the secret of 'Redeem the tribe of Your inheritance.'
'Har Tzion' (Mount Zion) contains the letters of 'Goshnah' (to Goshen), the secret of 'And he sent Judah before him to Goshen,' the secret that every sphere is distinct and primordial (hyle). For in the month of Shevat, one merits to be included in the primordial nothingness, and therefore we read the Song of the Sea: 'Then Moses and the Children of Israel sang this song to Hashem, and they spoke, saying: I will sing to Hashem, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.'
For then, in the month of Shevat, Hashem casts into the depths of the sea all their sins, which are 'the horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea; they sank like lead in the mighty waters,' for all the mighty ones of Egypt sank like lead.
And therefore, on Chanukah, we take a dreidel made of lead, upon which is written 'Goshnah,' because through the spinning of the lead, we cast away all 'the horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea,' and they sank like lead in the mighty waters. And then, on the fifteenth of Shevat, which begins a new year for the laws of Orlah (forbidden fruit), everyone emerges from the shell of Orlah that surrounds him, in the secret of 'Upon the lion and the viper you shall tread; you shall trample the young lion (310) and the dragon (516 + 1 = 827). Esau (376) and Ishmael (451) = 827.'
For then, in the month of Shevat, which begins from the Molad, we cast all the shells of Esau and Ishmael into the 'Nukba d'Tehoma Rabba' (the Great Deep), and we merit the 'rams of Moab' (Eilei Moav) - 'they shall be seized with trembling (Ra'ad - 274).' This is the union of Rachel and Leah (274).
And the crown of Rachel is transformed into the sandal of Leah.
And then the verse is fulfilled: 'Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I will cast my sandal,' for then one merits that the crown of Rachel is transformed into the sandal of Leah, in the secret of Enoch, who was a stitcher of sandals, and likewise Methuselah, his son Lamech, and his grandson Noah, whose entire work was to stitch the sandal of Leah from the crown of Rachel. And through this, Methuselah merited on the day of his passing to move the sun and the moon for seven days, so that instead of going from east to west, they would go from west to east, and he gave his entire generation a taste of the World to Come for seven days.
