Prayer Gathering in Front of Ramla Prison for the Release of the Righteous Rabbi

Many of the students, associates, and followers of our holy teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived at the great and special prayer assembly outside Ramla prison.

On Motzaei Shabbat Vayigash, 7 Tevet 5782, hundreds of those whose hearts burn for the light of truth made their way, immediately upon the conclusion of Shabbat, to the walls of the prison in Ramla.

The prayers for the release of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, were conducted with great awakening. One Tikkun HaKlali was recited with the devotion of the entire public, and another began immediately afterward, until all seven Tikkunim were recited with one heart and one melody.

The reasons for the continued imprisonment of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, are outrageous and cause bewilderment even among those far from the world of Torah. However, the students of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, believe and know that everything that happens to the tzaddik is a wondrous secret, a long process of Geulah in which much patience—and prayer—is required.
