The Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Almaliach shlit"a
How Can Such a Huge Community Not Have a Synagogue? Yahrtzeit of Rebbe Natan of Breslov 5782

The Mekubal, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Shlomo Elmaliach shlit"a, shares words of inspiration before the release and return of our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Rabbi Elmaliach spoke at the Yahrtzeit gathering of Reb Noson of Breslov outside the walls of Ramla Prison, where our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, was being held. Hundreds of participants arrived at the site, with the point of the tzaddik burning in their hearts, their only desire being to unite on this holy day with the living tzaddik.
In his words, Rabbi Elmaliach made sure to prepare the ground before the joyous return of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, and also to cry out the plea of the tens of thousands of students of Rav Berland shlit"a: "It cannot be that such a large community does not have a proper place of prayer; help us find such a place."
"I say: Ashrei (fortunate) are the portions of all those from our community who arrived here every single night with self-sacrifice, for another 7 Tikkun HaKlalis and another seven."

"We spent Shabbos in this holy compound, that is what I call it. We were privileged to spend two Shabbosim here. It pains me most not to spend a third Shabbos here, but the release of the Rav is more important than everything. You see the wooden planks; these are the planks of the synagogue... We prayed Mincha here on Erev Shabbos, and we prayed the Shabbos prayer near our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a."
"We spent two and a half hours there singing 'Lecha Dodi Likrat Kallah'; we truly welcomed the face of Shabbos. We prayed Shacharit from 5:00 to 11:30, and we continued with the recitation of 10 Tikkun HaKlalis."
"Gentlemen, there are things I must share with the general public that are on the agenda. Many are asking if it will be possible to see our teacher, the Rav, after his release. One of the officers told me: 'I have never seen such demonstrations in my life. All the Arab demonstrations in Ramla are stormy... here, the Chassidim only dance, sing, and recite Tikkun HaKlalis. This is a new kind of demonstration that doesn't even require police permission...' They told me the same thing in Jerusalem at the municipal police."
"We are going to set up a huge tent... The goal of all of us is to protect our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, upon his release, even though in a lesson last week, the Rav said that he is fine here. He said: 'They put two Arab informants with me who initially bothered me, but slowly they felt that there is sweetness here.' Anyone who spent a Shabbos here understands what this sweetness is, and then the Arabs became Breslov Chassidim. The Rav said that all the prisoners here became more of Breslov Chassidim than Shuvu Banim. Baruch Hashem, Rav Berland is doing great things here. When the Rav leaves here, what darkness will fall upon this place..."
"The goal is to bring the Rav out to the public; everything depends on his health. Do not forget that the Rav endured two years of suffering in prisons; no person would withstand this, at such an age and with such abuse. Therefore, I ask in the name of the community rabbis, and in the name of our teacher, the Rav: give the activists strength, they are collapsing under the burden. The burden is very heavy and difficult, and the expenses are great."
"We ask the entire public, the help is also for all the debts and the many expenses; we must all mobilize for the sake of our teacher, Rav Berland."
"When Reb Noson went to build a synagogue for Anash (our people) due to the overcrowding, he arrived in a city where there was a very poor Breslov Chassid who only had 2 rubles. Reb Noson did not want to accept it from him because it was all his money, but the poor man insisted. When the building was completed, Reb Noson said that the Kloiz was built in the merit of the two rubles that he gave with self-sacrifice."
"Gentlemen, even though everyone has many standing orders, make a self-sacrifice for the sake of our teacher, the Rav, so that we too may have a 'bird that found a home,' so that we may have a house of prayer. We do not have a prayer hall, we do not have a synagogue; it is a shame that such a huge community is without a synagogue..."
"And Hashem, the Great One, will not despise; with the help of Hashem, the time is short and the work is much."
