Why Do We Sing Before and After Prayer? Daily Strengthening from Rabbi Eliezer
Berland shlit"a

The daily chizuk from our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a – How to elevate prayer to its source.
Wednesday, 7th of Tammuz 5782 – The secret of why the tzaddik insists on singing before and after prayer, these are his holy words:
For the entire purpose of a person is to sing every day, before and after prayer, a few verses, a few things.
Because only song elevates the prayer - if a person does not sing, the prayer has no ascent.
That is why it is written: "And I beseeched" (Va'etchanan) elevates the song, that only through song does the prayer ascend.
The main thing is to sing before prayer and after prayer - and then the prayer ascends.
