After a Two-Week Absence: Our Teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, Sets Out on a Journey of Strengthening
Our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, set out this morning on a holy journey to bring the people of Israel closer [to Hashem], following two weeks of rest due to his frail health, during which the Rav was absent from his home. As remembered, the Rav shlit"a's last visit before taking his rest was in Givat Shmuel where the Rav shlit"a spoke, saying that "everyone should go now to do an hour of Hisbodedus (private prayer) at the tomb of Shimon HaTzaddik. 20 minutes there, 20 minutes at the Tziyon (holy gravesite), and 20 minutes back..." The Rav shlit"a began the journey at an address in Kiryat Sefer, and from there he set out for Ashdod. In the holy Breslov courtyard of 'Shuvu Banim,' they are praying that we will merit to see the Rav shlit"a on further holy journeys to bring the people of Israel closer [to their Father in Heaven]. Before setting out on the journey, the Rav shlit"a received several youths for a talk of chizuk (spiritual strengthening).
