Prayer for the Month of Adar II 5776 by the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Prayer for the Month of Adar II
At the birth of the new moon of Adar II, which will be on the night of the Fourth Day [Tuesday night] at 9:10 and 15 parts: At this time, the illumination of Purim begins—the illumination of Mordechai and Esther. Regarding this, it is said, "When Adar enters, we increase in joy," for then Amalek is cut off completely, and the great Kingdom of Rome will fall and be erased from the world. As stated in the Zohar at the end of Parashat Balak (212b): On that day, three high walls in that city of Rome will fall, and the great palace will fall, and the great ruler will die. Regarding this, it is said, "I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; a star shall step forth from Jacob." On that day, a great star will arise in the center of the firmament, and the Land of Israel will shake forty-five miles in every direction. A single cave beneath the Holy Temple will be revealed, and a mighty fire will emerge from there to burn the entire world. All the kings of the world will gather against the King Moshiach, and Israel will be in distress after distress. Then, that spirit of Moshiach will awaken with mighty strength and overcome all the kings of the world, and he will burn the entire land of Seir with a mighty fire, as it is said, "And their fire shall not be quenched." Regarding this, it is said, "And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also, even his enemies, shall be a possession; while Israel does valiantly." And regarding that time, it will be said, "The right hand of Hashem does valiantly," "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of God." For the Holy One, Blessed be He, is destined to revive the dead on that day, just as Rabbah revived Rabbi Zeira on that day [of Purim]. Regarding this, it is said, "For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace." "Sasson" (Joy) refers to the Holy One, Blessed be He. Rabbi Shimon said: "Sasson" refers to the Tzaddik, who will be revealed to the world on that day. From the day Israel went into exile, there has been no "Sasson" before the Holy One, Blessed be He. Regarding that day, it is said, "And you shall draw water with 'Sasson'"—this is the Tzaddik—"from the springs of salvation"—this refers to Abba and Imma [the Partzufim of Father and Mother]. For the foundations (Yesodot) of Abba and Imma are clothed within the foundations of Zeir Anpin [The Small Face] and Malchut [Kingship], which correspond to Mordechai [whose gematria equals Rachel and Leah] and Esther. Through the lights of the Yesod of Zeir Anpin, which is the soul of Joshua bin Nun, the entire kingdom of Edom will be annihilated, and the entire Sitra Achra (Other Side) will be consumed like smoke. Therefore, cities surrounded by a wall from the time of Joshua bin Nun celebrate on the 15th, for that is the time of the Geulah (Redemption). Regarding this, it is said, "Cry out and shout, inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel." This is said regarding the days of Purim, which is the time of the total erasure of Amalek, when the Gate of the Fifty is revealed. Regarding this, it is said, "Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge are the chambers filled" [Proverbs 24:3-4]. And regarding this, it is said, "For Hashem gives wisdom; out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding" [Proverbs 2:6]. For Hashem will give all these three gifts [Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer, end of Ch. 3] to the King Moshiach. Specifically on Purim, we merit the Gate of the Fifty, regarding which it is said, "And the spirit of Hashem shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of Hashem" [Gematria 1650], which is the gematria of "And [Esther] found favor in the eyes of all those who looked upon her" [Gematria 1650].
Then, on Purim, the verse will be fulfilled: "Hashem by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the depths were broken up" [Proverbs 3:19-20], in the secret of "And a great crown of gold," which is the secret of the Gate of the Fifty, the skull (Kodkod) of Adam Kadmon. For Purim is the beginning of all beginnings, when the Gate of the Fifty, the Great Jubilee, is revealed. Regarding this, it is said, 'From the side of the Jubilee, Israel went out of Egypt,' in the secret of "And the Children of Israel went up armed (chamushim) out of the land of Egypt." For then, in Shushan Purim, the Plague of Darkness occurred [thirty days before the Plague of the Firstborn]. Regarding this, it is said, "But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver and apparel." Then the Children of Israel saw into the holes and cracks, and the Children of Israel had light in their dwellings, and they saw even what was inside the jars and the hidden places. At that time, a person can penetrate the entire inner depth of the recesses of his heart and remove the chametz (leaven) from all the holes and cracks—for anyone who rejoices in the joy of Purim is saved even from the slightest amount of chametz.
