WE CURRENTLY FIND OURSELVES IN A VERY DIFFICULT STAGE, WHERE WE CAN SEE THAT THE BIRUR, THE CLARIFICATION PROCESS BETWEEN HOLINESS AND THE ‘OTHER SIDE’ IS BECOMING EXTREMELY SHARP.

Ashrenu, fortunate are we, that we have Moranu Rav Berland, shlita, who can wake up thousands of people, and get them together in order to pray and cry out [to Hashem].

We know that Am Yisrael’s only real strength lies in our prayers, and especially, the prayers that we say together, and especially at kivrei tzaddikim (the graves of holy people) – and even more so, at the Tomb of the Patriarchs, at midnight.

> This is the biggest weapon we have in our hands.

So, the Rav’s strength and foresight to propel this awesome, huge gathering forward is one of the biggest assets Am Yisrael has.

[THIS GATHERING] IS PERHAPS THE BIGGEST ASSET OF ALL.

We need to truly appreciate the zchut (privilege) we’re being given, to join together with the thousands who will come to this event. Rabbenu, Rebbe Nachman, tells us (in Likutey Moharan II:8) that each person who comes immeasurably transforms the power of the prayers.

WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE’VE REACHED A CRITICAL JUNCTION, AND THE [PENDING] WAR IS ON SO VERY MANY FRONTS. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US NEEDS TO DISPLAY SOME ENORMOUS MESIRUT NEFESH (SELF-SACRIFICE) IN ORDER TO COME TO THIS PRAYER GATHERING.

Rabbi Yose ben Kisma said that the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hevron is the gate to Gan Eden. The prayers and the souls all ascend [to heaven] from there. This is the first place that Avraham acquired, in Eretz Yisrael, and it’s one of the three locations that the Shechina never moves from, in the merit of Avraham’s acquisition.

ON THE NIGHT OF THE PRAYER GATHERING, THERE WILL BE A TREMENDOUS COMBINATION OF THINGS COMING TOGETHER:

The place itself, the Tomb of the Patriachs is a segulah (spiritual aid). The time of the gathering (chatzot, halachic midnight) is a tremendous segulah. And there will be thousands of people coming together to pray with Moranu Rav Berland, shlita.
